★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ristorante pet friendly. Personale cordiale, nulla da dire, apparecchiatura sobria, ma la cucina si è fermata agli anni '80. Tutto affogato da salse e creme che coprono ogni sapore. Tra gli antipasti sarebbe carino fosse specificato che le seppie all'albese sono cosparse di parmigiano. Discreti il polpo e la frittatina, le palline di pesce fritto, invece, non hanno un sapore definito e la croccantezza svanisce nell'ennesima crema. Sarebbe inoltre auspicabile, che ad ogni commensale arrivasse il piatto di antipasti fatto e finito e non una caterva di ciotole da condividere. Buoni i tagliolini con zucchine e gamberetti ma questi ultimi, già sgusciati, erano duri, o hanno cotto più del dovuto o non davano l'idea di prodotto fresco. Sarebbe altrettanto utile conoscere in anticipo il gusto della bavarese. Era buona, ma io non amo il caffè e il gusto, quello era. Se fosse stato scritto sul menù, avrei optato per un altro dessert. Coreografica la crema catalana fiammeggiante. Il vino è stato sostituito durante il pranzo perché il primo scelto non c'era, il secondo non era in fresco e abbiamo dovuto optare per una terza opzione. Non particolarmente soddisfatti e dubito che ritorneremo. La difficoltà di trovare parcheggio, anche a fine ottobre, non è da sottovalutare.
Pet friendly restaurant. Friendly staff, nothing to say, sober equipment, but the kitchen stopped in the 80s. All drowned in sauces and creams that cover every flavor. Among the starters it would be nice if it were specified that the cuttlefish in Alba area are sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. The octopus and the omelette are discreet, the fried fish balls, on the other hand, do not have a defined flavor and the crunchiness vanishes in the umpteenth cream. It would also be desirable for each diner to get a plate of appetizers done and finished and not a bunch of bowls to share. The tagliolini with courgettes and shrimps were good but the latter, already peeled, were hard, or overcooked or did not give the idea of a fresh product. It would also be useful to know the taste of Bavarian in advance. It was good, but I don't love coffee and the taste, that was it. Had it been written on the menu, I would have opted for another dessert. The flamboyant Crema Catalana is choreographed. The wine was replaced during lunch because the first chosen was not there, the second was not in the cooler and we had to opt for a third option. Not particularly satisfied and I doubt we will return. The difficulty of finding parking, even at the end of October, is not to be underestimated.
