Si, in teoria; no quando la qualità e la bontà delle portate sono quelle offerte da Bruna e Rossana. Non parliamo poi della pizza di Stefano, semplicemente spettacolare. I have been a customer of the restaurant da Bruna for twenty years now. Is it difficult to be objective when there is a deep friendship involved? Yes, in theory; no when the quality and goodness of the dishes are those offered by Bruna and Rossana. Let's not talk about Stefano's pizza, which is simply spectacular.

Sono stati gentilissimi dal primo all'ultimo minuto. Abbiamo ordinato un ottimo piatto di gnocchi e ci hanno omaggiate di antipasto locale (le pittule) e dolce. I prezzi assolutamente adatti a quantità e qualità dei piatti. Con la difficoltà che abbiamo avuto per trovare dove mangiare quella sera, non posso che considerare il ristorante Da Bruna una "oasi nel deserto". Consigliato! I'd start by saying that the kindness and hospitality of the staff struck me. They allowed us to eat even though one had already passed. They were very kind from the first to the last minute. We ordered a great plate of gnocchi and they gave us a local antipasto (le pittule) and dessert. Prices absolutely suitable for quantity and quality of dishes. With the difficulty we had to find where to eat that evening, I can only consider the Da Bruna restaurant an "oasis in the desert". Recommended!

The restaurant is lead by the "Nona Chef" and is mostly visited by the locals who pop in for lunch or dinner. Everyone knows everyone ...great family atmosphere. The menu card offers a wide variety of meat, seafood and typical Salento home made dishes. Large portions. Fresh pizzas are prepared and baked on the spot. Prices are very reasonable : we had dinner for two, 2 courses per person (2 pasta dishes as starters, 2 main courses with side dish) bottle of sparkling water, 1 bottle of wine for +/- 50 EUR. A quick appetizer and small desert were offered by the house. Amazing ! One of my top favorites in Italy so far. Highly recommended. Credit cards are accepted.
