★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottima trattoria, in posizione centrale nella città di Rieti. Ambiente rustico ma curato, con archi in mattoni e travi in legno a vista, atmosfera rilassata e familiare. Il menù presenta piatti tipici della cucina reatina e laziale, con porzioni abbondanti e gustose Fra i primi molto buoni i pizziconi all'amatriciana e tra i secondi troviamo trippa, polpettone bianco con cipolla, maialino. Servizio cortese e veloce, curato in sala dai proprietari. Dolci semplici ma gustosi. Da provare dopo il caffè il liquore alla genziana. Conto onesto. Molto consigliato .
Excellent restaurant, centrally located in the city of Rieti. Rustic but refined atmosphere, with brick arches and exposed wooden beams, a relaxed and familiar atmosphere. The menu presents typical dishes of the Rieti and Lazio cuisine, with generous and tasty portions. Among the first very good pizziconi all'amatriciana and among the second we find tripe, white meatloaf with onion, suckling pig. Fast and courteous service, cared for in the dining room by the owners. Simple but tasty desserts. Try the gentian liqueur after coffee. Honest account. Highly recommended .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il locale si trova in una piccola stradina a pochi passi dalla piazza centrale di Rieti. Vi si accede da una piccola porta nella quale si entra nella sala principale (c’è un’altra piccola sala “soppalcata” con altri 3 tavoli).
L’ambiente è piccolo ma molto ben curato, senza fronzoli e con un po’ di foto antiche. Non si sono tantissimi tavoli, quindi è meglio prenotare.
I proprietari sono davvero molto cortesi e svolgono il loro lavoro con grandissima professionalità. I piatti non sono tantissimi, sinonimo di bontà e freschezza degli ingredienti. Tra i primi, oltre le zuppe del giorno, potete trovare tutti i piatti della tradizione reatina fatta con pasta fatta in casa, a voi la scelta della combinazione piatti/condimento. Ottimi i secondi di carne preparati con molta cura e attenzione. Particolare il polpettone di pollo, delicato e gustoso. Trippa alla romana super (presa per antipasto, ma vale la pena prenderla come piatto). Un posto dove tornare sicuramente.
The restaurant is located in a small street a few steps from the central square of Rieti. It is accessed from a small door which leads into the main room (there is another small "mezzanine" room with 3 other tables).
The environment is small but very well cared for, without frills and with a few old photos. There aren't many tables, so it's best to book.
The owners are very courteous and carry out their work with great professionalism. The dishes are not many, synonymous with the goodness and freshness of the ingredients. Among the first courses, in addition to the soups of the day, you can find all the dishes of the Rieti tradition made with homemade pasta, the choice of the dishes / condiment combination is up to you. Excellent second courses of meat prepared with great care and attention. Particularly the chicken meatloaf, delicate and tasty. Tripe alla romana super (taken as an appetizer, but it is worth taking it as a dish). A place to come back for sure.

Gnocchi set the benchmark high. My friend claims best ever eaten. Treat yourself to the meatloaf with sweet white onions, you won't be disappointed, its heaven.
