★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overcharged us for the meal. Felt like they were trying to cheat us because we're American. Little did they know I lived in Rome and travel around Italy frequently. I've never had this kind of experience in a restaurant in Italy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tourists trap. The fish we had was absolutely not a daily catch and was not well cooked (it was definitely precooked and just warmed up). For 80 Euros for 2 people was definitely a scam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No a la carte menu, these guys serve a three course menu of whatever is fresh on the day, focusing mainly on fresh pasta and fresh fish. The portions are huge - we had the grilled fish set menu and it was delish. Swordfish, a couple of local fish and cuttlefish.
The waiter we had was amazing and the little garden out the back felt off the beaten track - not too touristy.
Definitely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am one of the people that gets fooled by the decor when I go a restaurant. The colorful garden with plants and flowers in the garden made me feel that a local Grant mama was going to cook for us. When it was time to order I made my first mistake: seafood tartare. Hoping for something like sushi, I got one raw shrimp, one raw crawfish and about 10 slices of raw calamari. I am not going to call it discusting but that's how I felt. My daughter order something Antipasto, she she got some olives, some fried veggies, dry tomatoes and 3 balls of ricotta cheese and ... Anyway she.ate almost nothing because these items have very little taste unlike the strong Sicilian tastes and sauces. My wife got the best deal by ordering grilled local fish. It was dry but we all had a piece that did not invite you for a second bite. Things got worse when I ordered the local white wine. I suspected that they added water to make the wine lighter. A local person at the restaurant who noticed my untouched plate said that he would never eat that food. By the way my plate was the most expensive on the menu. Another funny note was that the owner-cook was going from one table to another to greed customers, well he noticed our plates full with food, he skipped us.

Here you can have a taste of the real Sicilian cuisine in a lovely inside garden. The mood is calm and relaxing and caries you back in time. Here you can find an easy to read menu with good prices and a staff who will be glad to help you have a memorable experience. The cook is using fresh local fish and products to delight your taste. The restaurant gives you a warm and cozy fell and the abundance of plants makes it a very beautiful place to sit down and enjoy your dinner. The restaurant opens only at dinner time and closes late at night. The meals are rich in color and taste and are very abundant in size. The staff is very careful to help you fell good and welcomed every time you are here .I personally enjoyed every meal I had there and I am glad I had the chance to have a taste of the lovely products they had to offer. This restaurant is a place to try if you have the chance to visit San Vito lo Capo
