Ci stanno tutti.
I review after going there twice months later. Start from the conclusion: recommended. The restaurant is located in the square of roccaraso, a not too large room, well furnished. Nice tablecloths and well-finished table setting. In summer they offer less demanding dishes for lunch that are served in an outdoor area. Type of cuisine: local raw material prepared with modern techniques - frequent use of low temperature cooking -. Taste carpaccio and lamb accompanied by orapi, excellent. The menu is varied and also offers cod. Attention also in the service. Explanation of the dishes; not slow, but not nagging either. Speaking with the owners we understand that there is a lot of passion in what they do. I start with an entree, various types of bread accompanied by oil tasting and, finally, pre-sweet. Cost for two courses and wine by the glass about 40 euros. They all fit.

More than a restaurant, a real experience. Intimate, welcoming place, prepared, attentive and never intrusive dining room staff. First, second and desserts all excellent, to be enjoyed without discrimination. Good wine list with attention to the excellence of the territory. The chef is always available and ready to meet any request, but woe to refuse the taste of his dry pastry! To go back over and over again

We've lived in Italy for 6 months, and this is restaurant is my favorite! I love the rabbit with the carrot sauce, the gelato with berry sauce, the soft-boiled egg with pecorino mousse and truffle, the cheesecake, and the foamed yogurt with Graham crackers pieces and caramel sauce. I didnt like the chestnut mousse or the pasta dumplings in broth. Overall, delicious! I can't wait to come back

Very disappointing for a Michelin recommendation. Not sure if the kitchen has changed since but it really needs improvement. Tortelli with black truffles had no lavor whatsoever, with a watery sauce and sadly tasted as if it were bought in broth form at a supermarket. How could you even go wrong with such a classic Italian dish? Beef tartare was much less than satisfactory, and the crunchy chicken was good but to be honest, who comes all the way here for that? Homemade bread and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo wine were nice. Did not really feel the essence of Abruzzo here. Food quality needs a lot of work to earn a spot as 4.3 rating.

I found this restaurant with a friend whilst on an unplanned stopover. I asked the chef, via Google translate, if he could provide a vegan lunch for two. He was only too happy to oblige and produced a beautifully proportioned and tasty 2 course lunch. Total cost including bottled water of €30 per head including service

Saw some odd reviews of this place so thought I'd give my 7.2 pence. We knew it was not a cheap restaurant and a treat, not where you'd eat daily so went prepared. We also saw some reviews where the quantity of the food was questioned. So, yes it's not cheap. Yes, you're not getting a massive fry up or pizza or huge gut busting plate of pasta. What you are getting though is fantastic service, the people were really friendly, a lovely spot, and fantastic food. We were both full from the meal. My wife had the rabbit for main and it was by far the best rabbit she'd ever had, and she's had three. Would definitely go again, but as a treat, not for breakfast ?
