★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ha aperto in piena pandemia, nella primavera 2020, e nonostante le indubbie difficoltà del periodo, si è saputo far valere rientrando così all’interno della Guida de L’Espresso!
Non potevamo perciò lasciarcelo sfuggire. Così, lo scorso week-end abbiamo voluto provare il Di Rocco Bistrot, dello Chef Davide Di Rocco. Ho adorato il suo “calamari tiepidi, zucca, broccoletti e mandorle”!
Al di là della location spettacolare con vista diretta sulla Rocca dei Tempesta, il design con il giusto mix di muri a facciavista e arredo moderno, c’è l’attenzione dei dettagli a fare davvero la differenza. Tra questi, non solo i piatti, la fantasia dello Chef e la presentazione, ma anche il servizio di sala, attento e discreto senza essere eccessivo o troppo ingessato.
Abbiamo ordinato il menu degustazione “Biglietto da Visita” di cui posto le foto; i piatti che vedete in foto erano:
- Crema di sedano rapa, taccole e caviale di aringa
- Calamari tiepidi, zucca, broccoletti e mandorle
- Risotto al brodo di castagne, porcini e anice stellato
- Branzino, vongole, emulsione allo scalogno e Martini
- Mousse allo zabaione, alchermes, e biscotto alle mandorle
- La piccola pasticceria

 It opened in the middle of the pandemic, in spring 2020, and despite the undoubted difficulties of the period, it was able to assert itself, thus being part of the L’Espresso Guide!
We could not therefore let it slip away. So, last weekend we wanted to try the Di Rocco Bistrot, by Chef Davide Di Rocco. I loved his "warm calamari, pumpkin, broccoli and almonds"!
Beyond the spectacular location with a direct view of the Rocca dei Tempesta, the design with the right mix of exposed walls and modern furniture, there is the attention to detail that really makes the difference. Among these, not only the dishes, the Chef's imagination and presentation, but also the dining room service, attentive and discreet without being excessive or too plastered.
We ordered the "Business Card" tasting menu of which we placed the photos; the dishes you see in the picture were:
- Cream of celeriac, snow peas and herring caviar
- Warm squid, pumpkin, broccoli and almonds
- Risotto with chestnut broth, porcini mushrooms and star anise
- Sea bass, clams, shallot emulsion and martini
- Eggnog mousse, alchermes, and almond biscuit
- The small patisserie
