Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di mangiar lì due volte, sempre a cena; la prima sera abbiamo gustato oltre a dei primi di cui non ho foto perché spariti velocemente e come secondo un ottima e indimenticabile lombata di vitello (consigliatami dal cameriere) e uno spiedotto di carne mista accompagnato da un ottimo contorno di patate al forno con rosmarino. Forse un po' caro come ristorante, ma se si scelgono dei buoni piatti, si rimane soddisfatti senza pensare a quanto si è pagato. Personalmente consiglio per i primi, per quanto riguarda piatti a base di paste, scegliere quelli con pasta della casa (pasta fresca) perché le altre (pasta "secca") viene cotte lasciandola troppo al dente, tant'è che spezzando un rigatone, nel mezzo si notava ancora il bianco della pasta rimasta cruda. Per il resto, tutto ottimo, dal servizio ai tavoli ai piatti. We stayed in the hotel overlooking this restaurant and have a direct entrance to this restaurant. We were lucky enough to eat there twice, always at dinner; the first night we enjoyed some of the first ones of which I have no photos because they disappeared quickly and as a second an excellent and unforgettable veal loin (recommended by the waiter) and a mixed meat skewer accompanied by an excellent side dish of baked potatoes with rosemary. Perhaps a bit expensive as a restaurant, but if you choose good dishes, you will be satisfied without thinking about how much you paid. Personally I recommend for the former, as far as pasta dishes are concerned, choose those with house pasta (fresh pasta) because the others ("dry" pasta) are cooked leaving it too al dente, so much so that breaking a rigatone, in the half the white of the pasta remained raw. For the rest, everything is excellent, from the service to the tables to the dishes.

Seguono con attenzione le norme senza darti un'idea di soffocamento o insicurezza. Il menù è più ristretto del solito, ma offre sempre prodotti prevalentemente locali e gustosi, serviti in maniera sobria ma efficace. Ho provato la tagliata condita con un fantastico parmigiano, le verdure grigliate, il dolce cioccolato e pistacchio ma quello che mi ha fatto impazzire è stato lo sformatino tartufo e porcini! Inoltre Silvia e Antonello sono ottimi "padroni di casa", cordiali e attenti come anche i camerieri. I state that this restaurant has catered for my wedding, so I already knew I was safe! First dinner in covid time. They carefully follow the rules without giving you an idea of suffocation or insecurity. The menu is smaller than usual, but always offers mainly local and tasty products, served in a sober but effective way. I tried the tagliata dressed with a fantastic parmesan, grilled vegetables, the sweet chocolate and pistachio but what made me crazy was the truffle and porcini pudding! In addition, Silvia and Antonello are excellent "hosts", friendly and attentive, as are the waiters.

Il cibo era veramente ottimo, le porzioni super abbondanti (anche troppo per quel che mangio io). Ogni sera ci venivano date tre opzioni per ogni portata (primo, secondo e contorno) e poi una bella scelta tra i dolci del giorno! Il personale é veramente impeccabile, una vera nota di merito va ad Alex: veloce, gentile e molto disponibile, oltre che super simpatico! Ci ha dato molti consigli sui borghi dell'Umbria! Consiglio veramente tanto questo posto! I took advantage of the half board service affiliated with the facility where I stayed at this restaurant. The food was really great, the portions super generous (even too much for what I eat). Every evening we were given three options for each course (first, second and side dish) and then a nice choice among the desserts of the day! The staff is truly impeccable, a real note of credit goes to Alex: fast, kind and very helpful, as well as super nice! He gave us many tips on the villages of Umbria! I really recommend this place!
