F	Fabrizio Tonna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un locale che dall'esterno, pur avendolo sempre visto, mi sembrava molto anonimo e posto sulla strada principale di Romagnano. Su tutta la strada è disponibile del parcheggio libero e poco distante c'è anche una piazzetta pubblica e quindi risulta agevole arrivare al ristorante. Entriamo e veniamo accolti molto gentilmente, l'arredamento è particolare con tanti piccoli dettagli e libri di cucina; il locale oltre alla sala d'ingresso ha anche due ulteriori sale da pranzo, una centrale e arredata in modo moderno ma caldo con una bella e piccola stufa in maiolica; e una più piccola a lato che per il poco che ho visto era arredata con drappi e tessuti. All'ingresso della sala si trova anche un bel tavolo in legno di "una volta" con alcuni libri posti al di sopra e, cosa che mi è piaciuta, i termosifoni coperti con una "cuffia" in stoffa, bella idea che evita di scottarsi oppure il depositarsi di polvere. Il nostro tavolo è ben preparato, la sala è silenziosa. Il menù è presentato in un libretto rigido, bello; le portate non sono tante per tipo e la cosa la apprezzo. Ho preso un tris di patate gialle e viola con sgombro; buono nella sua differenza di consistenza con il contrasto di sgombro (avrei preferito fosse deliscato). Per primo dei ravioli con ricotta, burro e vaniglia; in generale normale ma la vaniglia era troppo presente e copriva gli altri gusti. Buona la lista dei vini e ottima l'attenzione di variare il vino perchè non era adeguato il gusto dello stesso. I prezzi sono nella norma A place that from the outside, despite having always seen it, seemed very anonymous and placed on the main road of Romagnano. Free parking is available all along the road and nearby there is also a public square and therefore it is easy to get to the restaurant. We enter and are greeted very kindly, the decor is particular with many small details and cookbooks; in addition to the entrance hall, the restaurant also has two further dining rooms, one central and furnished in a modern but warm way with a beautiful and small tiled stove; and a smaller one on the side which for the little I saw was furnished with drapes and fabrics. At the entrance of the room there is also a nice "once" wooden table with some books placed above it and, which I liked, the radiators covered with a cloth "cap", a nice idea that avoids getting burned or the deposition of dust. Our table is well prepared, the room is silent. The menu is presented in a rigid, beautiful booklet; the courses are not many by type and I appreciate it. I took a trio of yellow and purple potatoes with mackerel; good in its difference in consistency with the contrast of mackerel (I would have preferred it to have been deliscated). First of all ravioli with ricotta, butter and vanilla; in general normal but vanilla was too present and covered the other flavors. The wine list is good and the attention to varying the wine is excellent because the taste of the wine was not adequate. Prices are normal

I primi e gli antipasti intorno ai 10 eu. i secondi ai 16. Buona la carta dei vini. Good restaurant with typical Piedmontese cuisine. Dishes prepared with care. Excellent service, room furnished with old objects and furniture. The first and the appetizers around 10 eu. second courses at 16. Good wine list.

Prezzi assolutamente corretti Siamo ritornati dopo molti anni ma torneremo presto. Cozy environment. Courteous and helpful owner. Mainly Piedmontese cuisine with good care and good materials. Good wine list. Prices absolutely correct We have returned after many years but will be back soon.

Buono il baccalà su crema di ceci e il bocconcino salato con pancetta affumicata. La cantina merita attenzione per l'ottima scelta di etichette delle colline novarese. Sopra tutti i Boca e i Gatttinara. I know the place well. An elaborate but original cuisine. The environment is pleasant. Keep several memories of an old tavern. Good cod on chickpea cream and salty morsel with smoked bacon. The cellar deserves attention for the excellent choice of labels from the Novara hills. Above all Boca and Gatttinara.

Sicuramente non economico ma consigliato. Excellent restaurant with traditional cuisine in the center of Romagnano Sesia, good wine cellar for meals and desserts. Definitely not cheap but recommended.
