The venison and lamb are always delicious, with a great wine list focusing on NE Italy. The owner is really friendly and can advise dishes to choose for all tastes. And the views are spectacular. Highly recommended - on the right as you drive towards Cortina

Frequented by the locals but willing to accommodate foreigners who just turn up on their doorstep, booking seems to be normal but on quiet days there's plenty of space. The menu is only in Italian. We really enjoyed our meal which included duck, venison, quail and vegetarian basil tart, tiramisu with peaches and their own tart of carrot cake with mascarpone. The wine list was excellent. We'd go back if we had time and don't blame anyone who becomes a regular.

We understand everything... sunday, evening. But rudeness, tactlessness and negativity are all that we remembered from visiting this restaurant. About the menu. It had a very small choice, plus they offered "wooden" bread for the price of a bottle of wine in the store. Even if we starve, we’ll never come here again. And of course will not advise anyone.

Their menu is seasonal and local which is very nice and for us very important. The location is magical. Incredible property, up a private drive, surrounded by a enchanted forest with a view that cant be put into proper words. The service... Kind of weird. We had a 7:30 reservation, we were left alone outside until 8:00 without a word other than it will be 10 minutes. We took a table outside which seemed to annoy the owner. The sun was setting and we wanted a to enjoy the view. The food was OK, but the portions were very small and price very high compared to other places. There was bread given, but it was generic and stale. Really you can eat better food for half the price and twice the portions in this area. Overall we were disappointed, the focus here is more about the location and branding and less about giving the guest high quality food at a reasonable price. That's fine but not what we like, we are all about the food. We definitely wouldn't eat here again or recommend it to anyone else who wants regional Italian made with love. But if you want pretentious food and atmosphere with a great location and view this is the place.

My 10 years old kid asked for the waiting time for the food gently. The owner said rudly 20mn of waiting time and you can leave if you are not happy. I saw many reviews pointing the rudness and the agressivity of this owner. This is way far from italian kindness, generosity and positive attitude.. Don't go to this place!!!!

Ceps and chanterelle mushrooms were great, portions small though. The only downside was the owner, not specially kind to us. Neglected us to choose table even though most of the outdoor seating was available.
