These two are connected, one is more the michelin star restaurant, and the other is her little sister.
We actually got to taste from both in the same meal.
During the off season, only the bistro isbopened. However, they agreed to give me from the gourmet menu. So i had 3 courses tasting menu from Al Capriolo and my wife ordered 2 courses a la carte from il capriolino.
All the dishes were fine, and the service was good. However, it was clear that this is not a michelin star experience.
All the first courses were interesting and delicious.
The main courses however, were not good. My wife's baked cod with polenta was inedible. Seriously. Chewy and just not tasty. The waitress said it's a traditional meal, but i doubt anyone would enjoy this dish.
My pigeon 3 ways was ok, especially the breast. The other 2 variations were fine, just had a strong after taste of liver (i usually like liver, but this was an unpleasant taste).
Overall, it was ok but we were disappointed because we wanted a michelin star experience, and we only got an ok experience. It was pricey too, so all in all, not really worth it. Rating it as 4 because i think it has potential to be better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food and owner that accomodated us with a lunch although the kitchen was closed. Great food, wine and desserts. Very welcoming, with that little extra. So worth a visit!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great big rooms, super clean, nicely renovated with soundproof insulation, however, that does not fully block out the noise from the main road which is just in front of the hotel. Breakfast is fantastic.
