As soon as you get seated (and a reservation is definitely recommended), he'll visit your table and recite the daily menu/wines! The dishes are authentic and fresh, and the ambience is clearly made to reminisce past heroes and looks of the Venetian region. Definitely recommended!

To all people visiting the town searching for a nice place and nice environment, please avoid this restaurant! Look to all reviews, all tourists do not recommend this place for the same reason. Very bad service!

They will sit down with you and describe all the menu (they speak 4 languages!). As a foreigner you might find it confusing that there is no physical menu on the table, I lived in treviso area for 7 years and apparently it’s a normal practice for local restaurants: since many dishes might vary depending on the season. So, in order not to be surprised by the bill in the end, don’t be shy to ask for the paper menu from the waiter or the hosts. Be ready to spend around 50 euros per person (including full set of appetizer, second dish, wine and dessert). I honestly love this place because the food is great, the atmosphere is great and hosts are nice!

The owner will come up to your table and explain the menu to you, but purposefully skip the pasta, so that you’re forced to order the €20 secondi. You don’t even get to see the menu while ordering, so you have no idea how much you’re spending until the final bill. I’ve seen this done before in Italy, but never in this area. If you go, just ask for a menu while the owner explains the dishes to you.
