We decided to stop over at maratea and stopped here for a drink .
Service : exceptional
Food : ( we only ordered fried calamari and prawns )
It was quite nice , fresh produce used .
Drinks: house white was nice .
The view from this joint is quite nice and pleasent
( just get a mosquito repellent if sitting outside )
It is a family run business and they are genuinely nice and look after you .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This ristorante was hit and miss. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful with explanations of the tourist menu. My wife’s appetizer was a seafood combination which was mostly fine, but the octopus was very over-cooked and rubbery. My scallop appetizer was served in the shell. This was also quite tasty and the scallops were served with their roe, which was a new experience for me. In Europe, the roe is a delicacy and served, whereas it is discarded in the US. My wife’s shrimp entree was very good with giant, grilled prawn. I was excited to see monkfish on their menu as this is my favorite fish. Sadly, this was a big miss as it had the texture and taste of canned tuna.
Overall it was fine, but for the price, I expect more.
