In the recent years fishmongers and butchers started to coock their own product.
La tana della Sirena fry their fish and place in a coned shaped food grade paper, which partially also absorb the excess of oil; the shaped cone also represent the cornucopia
Cheap price, good quality fresh fish. Worse to try, to share. Beer or white wine match perfect
Just a note for the business, the Sirena is NOT an half fish-half woman. A lack of understanding very common in Naples/Italy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply delicious...discovered it by accident..their fried food is amazing. I tried the cuoppo di bacalla (COD) and it was delectable...almost like a tempura just the right amount of batter - fried perfectly...
I wish the UK could create remodel the fish (and chips) like this and not just fish doused in dough.. adding seaweed to the batter makes it even more yummier
I went there a second time just for their food...
Highly recommended!
