Strada asfaltata nella prima parte da noi percorsa fino al primo punto di osservazione.
Pendenza della strada importante.
Vista sui calanchi stupenda.
Nei punti di osservazione sono presenti le staccionate di legno oltre le quali si è invitati a non andare.
All'area WWF c'è la possibilità di prenotare visite guidate a misura di bambini.

Stunning view of the gullies.
At the observation points there are wooden fences beyond which you are advised not to go.
In the WWF area there is the possibility to book guided tours suitable for children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il panorama è davvero suggestivo e il sentiero (anello) che parte da qui è agevole e non troppo lungo (1 ora e 40 minuti a passo medio). Ci sono belvedere e punti panoramici, una cappella votiva dalla singolare storia, una fontanella e dei tavoli lungo il percorso. Ideale in primavera quando il caldo non è ancora eccessivo.
The view is truly impressive and the path (ring) that starts from here is easy and not too long (1 hour and 40 minutes at a medium pace). There are lookout points and viewpoints, a votive chapel with a singular history, a fountain and tables along the way. Ideal in spring when the heat is not yet excessive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Regional Nature Reserve "Calanchi di Atri", established in 1995 where the European Community had already identified a Site of Community Interest (SIC), became a WWF Oasis in 1999 with the aim of preserving about 600 hectares of nature , flora and fauna .
It contains forms of erosion that here take on an impressive aspect: the badlands .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful walk to soak in the Italian countryside! It's about 6km to do the full loop and is a mix of paved road and and gravel so easy enough to walk on. It's little steep at parts and I'd recommend doing it clockwise as the climb back up is more gradual that way. There's was plenty of parking (free). Would highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a beautiful 3.6 mile walk. The app was very informative to describe the area. Hike out was tiring and hot. Recommend starting early before sun gets hot. Highly recommend. Views are beautiful.
