★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Montagna bellissima, terza per gruppo dell'Appennino dopo Gran Sasso e Majella, l'escursione da Rosciolo è lunga e faticosa (1400 mt. di dislivello), ma ripaga con paesaggi e panorami bellissimi, si possono fare anche altre vette del gruppo come il Costognillo 2339 mt. e il Sevice 2355 mt. l'ultimo tratto della piramide del Velino (2486 mt.) è molto ripida e scivolosa (sentiero 3 CAI). Bellissima la vetta.
Beautiful mountain, third for the Apennine group after Gran Sasso and Majella, the excursion from Rosciolo is long and tiring (1400 meters in altitude), but it pays off with beautiful landscapes and panoramas, you can also do other peaks of the group such as the Costognillo 2339 mt. and the Sevice 2355 mt. the last part of the Velino pyramid (2486 mt.) is very steep and slippery (path 3 CAI). The summit is beautiful.
