★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There's a network of trails in hills northeast of Tivoli. It's easy to climb, paths are well maintained, well marked with red-white signs, signposts and maps located along the trail. In Tivoli the path begins near the begining of Strada Don Nello del Raso. At first there's not much shade, but later on most of the trail goes threw forests. The east most path has best views, the north most parts were very muddy (in june).
Great place for a day out of Rome.
