★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È una bellissima area naturale protetta costituita da una pineta affacciata sul mare, per cui oltre a poter fare il bagno in acque cristalline si può godere del fresco offerto dalla pineta e poter usufruire dell'area attrezzata con tavoli, panchine per i picnic all'ombra e zona barbecue. Lungo il percorso della pineta inoltre sono presenti, in più punti, docce, fontanelle per eliminare la sabbia dai piedi e bidoni per la differenziata. Peccato che nonostante ciò ci sia sempre qualche incivile in grado di abbandonare rifiuti sulla spiaggia usurpando la bellezza di questo posto. Per questo, secondo me, andrebbe messa qualche pattumiera anche vicino la spiaggia in modo da poter contribuire a tenere pulito senza dover trasportare i rifiuti degli altri fino alla pineta. Per fortuna però il luogo viene monitorato e controllato costantemente da persone che fanno un lavoro eccezionale.
La spiaggia, con sabbia finissima, si estende per diversi km e questo permette di accogliere tantissima gente mantenendo una buona distanza tra un ombrellone e l'altro.
Ci ritornerò sicuramente perché è un vero paradiso!
 It is a beautiful protected natural area consisting of a pine forest overlooking the sea, so in addition to being able to swim in crystal clear waters you can enjoy the coolness offered by the pine forest and be able to take advantage of the area equipped with tables, benches for picnics in the shade and barbecue area. Along the path of the pine forest there are also, in several points, showers, fountains to eliminate the sand from the feet and bins for recycling. Too bad that despite this there is always some uncivilized able to leave waste on the beach usurping the beauty of this place. For this reason, in my opinion, some rubbish bins should also be placed near the beach in order to help keep it clean without having to carry the waste of others to the pine forest. Fortunately, however, the place is constantly monitored and checked by people who do an exceptional job.
The beach, with very fine sand, extends for several kilometers and this allows it to accommodate many people while maintaining a good distance between one umbrella and another.
I will definitely be back because it is a true paradise!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just spent a lovely day here! We brought sandwiches and beer to enjoy in the shady picnic area before heading to the beach. I think we saw about 20 people there in total: mostly locals, but also some tourists who aren't afraid to stray off the beaten path. The staff was also very kind and tried their best to answer our questions despite the language barrier.
A few words of practical advice: do NOT forget a beach umbrella or something that provides shade. The sicilian sun is unforgiving and the foliage there isn't much to sit under. Water, sunscreen, towels, and perhaps toilet paper or paper towels are also necessary. There is a toilet near the picnic area and showers by the beach.
With some preparation, this is a great adventure to be had!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and pristine beach inside a natural reserve! :D The forest extremely well managed, with water fountains and BBQ areas! And the beach is just stunning with its send dunes over crystal clear blue waters. When we went there it was almost empty, pure heaven! :)
