★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il rifugio era chiuso però la zona circostante è davvero bella e piena di spunti per un'escursione tranquilla, ma piacevole. Ad esempio il vicino e bellissimo bosco dei Centorbi, la "casa del Pagliari" ed altri piccoli punti di interesse.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottimo rifugio, facilmente raggiungibile e ben gestito dagli amici di Etna e Dintorni; consigliatissimo per chiunque, dalla zona ci sono molte opportunità per escursionisti e chi ama la montagna.
In caso di arrivo tramite CircumEtnea è disponibile il servizio navetta per arrivare al rifugio per quanto la strada è facilmente e piacevolmente percorribile anche a piedi. La struttura dispone di dormitori, sala comune, bar, camino, bagni, rent bike & snow e tanto altro, con grandi possibilità per gruppi di trekker intenzionati al solo passaggio o al pernotto.
Durante la stagione invernale spesso, nonostante la quota non troppo elevata (c.ca 1185m slm), nevica rendendo il paesaggio ancora più suggestivo e divertente ampliando le possibili attività!

The structure has dormitories, common room, bar, fireplace, bathrooms, rent bike & snow and much more, with great possibilities for groups of trekkers wishing to just pass or stay overnight.
During the winter season, despite the not too high altitude (c.ca 1185m asl), it often snows making the landscape even more suggestive and fun by expanding the possible activities!
