You can get there only on foot of a beautiful and undemanding walk of over an hour. Definitely a place to eat.

Un formaggio buonissimo! Che si poteva acquistare q modico prezzo! Magic place! We went up with the A.M.O. we stopped to have lunch at the refuge with a WORLD sandwich !!! Salamella, peppers, onion and pravellina !! A delicious cheese! That you could buy a modest price!

Our pre-alpine peaks are always a spectacle, summer and winter excursions are wonderful, there is no shortage of historical outline.
M	Michela Gr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo arrivati alle 16:00, ovviamente stavano togliendo tutto, abbiamo proseguito oltre, una volta arrivati sulla cima ed esserci goduti il panorama, siamo riscesi al rifugio, un ragazzo molto cordiale degli "amici del monte orsa" ci ha regalato una bottiglietta d'acqua e ci ha informato che il 2 luglio ci sara' l'aperitivo al rifugio. Non mancheremo! Bisognera' prenotare in anticipo! We arrived at 16:00, obviously they were removing everything, we continued further, once we reached the top and enjoyed the view, we went down to the refuge, a very friendly boy from the "friends of Monte Orsa" gave us a bottle of water and informed us that on July 2nd there will be an aperitif at the refuge. We won't miss you! You must book in advance!
r	roberto fontana on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rifugio piccolo ed accogliente.l'atmosfera è informale e subito ti senti a casa. è gestito dai volontari della protezione civile che per semplificare la gestione (e nn avere obblighi di legge) chiedono un'offerta libera in cambio di 1 piatto di polenta o quello che c'è al momento.a corredo sono presenti anche panche e tavoli esterni con una grossa griglia che rende il rifugio il posto ideale x grigliate estive lontano dall'afa cittadina. Small and cozy refuge. The atmosphere is informal and you immediately feel at home. it is managed by civil protection volunteers who, to simplify management (and have no legal obligations), ask for a free offer in exchange for 1 plate of polenta or what is currently available. with a large grill that makes the refuge the ideal place for summer barbecues away from the heat of the town.
