Il rifugio è in una bellissima posizione, la cucina ottima ei prezzi ragionevoli. Cordiale l'accoglienza The first uphill stretch from Novate Mezzola is challenging, then long ups and downs to the refuge, which can be reached with a leisurely pace in less than 4 hours. The hut is in a beautiful location, great food and reasonable prices. Friendly welcome

Ogni volta l'incontro con le scale, che conducono alla val codera, ci fa capire quanto siamo piccoli, a confronto dell'immensità della montagna. E ogni risalita è un insegnamento. E il Brasca è sempre una bella vittoria! I stumbled upon il.brasca 4 years ago. And since then, at least once a year my partner and I have been visiting Betta and Mirko, the managers of the refuge. Each time the encounter with the stairs, which lead to the codera valley, makes us understand how small we are, compared to the immensity of the mountain. And every ascent is a lesson. And Brasca is always a good win!
E	Elisa Volonte' on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorge in un ampia radura circondato dai boschi di abete, alla fine della val Codera e del primo tratto del mitico Sentiero Roma. Sulla destra è dominato dalle imponenti pareti di granito del Pizzo Ligoncio e della Sfinge e dalle belle cascate che scendono dai loro nevai. Il percorso per arrivarci è abbastanza lungo ma tecnicamente facile. La parte più impegnativa è la scalinata iniziale da Novate Mezzola fino ad Avedée. Da Codera il sentiero è poi un largo sterrato che segue il corso del fiume, prendendo quota dolcemente tra i boschi e i vecchi nuclei di baite. I gestori del rifugio sono cordiali e molto ospitali e anche la cucina è buona. It stands in a large clearing surrounded by fir woods, at the end of the Codera valley and the first stretch of the mythical Path of Rome. On the right it is dominated by the imposing granite walls of Pizzo Ligoncio and the Sphinx and by the beautiful waterfalls that descend from their snowfields. The path to get there is quite long but technically easy. The most challenging part is the initial stairway from Novate Mezzola to Avedée. From Codera the path is then a wide dirt road that follows the course of the river, rising gently through the woods and the old nuclei of huts. The managers of the refuge are friendly and very hospitable and the food is also good.
R	Roberto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo rifugio nell'alta Val Codera, raggiungibile in circa 4h30m da Novate Mezzola e comodo come punto di appoggio per chi vuole affrontare il Sentiero Roma o semplicemente godersi la tranquillità e i bellissimi paesaggi della valle. I rifugisti sono gentilissimi e la cura e la passione che mettono nella gestione del rifugio è evidente sia nella cucina, buona e attenta alle necessità di regimi alimentari diversi, sia nella pulizia degli ambienti, sia nelle gestione delle comunicazioni pre-soggiorno. Assolutamente consigliato il rifugio e le escursioni nella valle. Beautiful refuge in the upper Val Codera, reachable in about 4h30m from Novate Mezzola and convenient as a base for those who want to tackle the Roma Path or simply enjoy the tranquility and the beautiful landscapes of the valley. The refugees are very kind and the care and passion they put into the management of the refuge is evident both in the cuisine, good and attentive to the needs of different diets, both in the cleaning of the rooms and in the management of pre-stay communications. Absolutely recommended the refuge and the excursions in the valley.
M	Max Brux on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buon rifugio in alta val Codera ! Si può raggiungere da svariati sentiere anche se il più corto e di facile accesso è da Novate Mezzola! Dal parcheggio di Novate dista circa 4 ore ! I gestori del rifugio sono molto bravi e gentili e sempre disponibili verso le persone di passaggio! Buono il cibo che viene cucinato con cura e buoni i prezzi in generale sia x mangiare che x dormire! Dal rifugio si ha la possibilità di fare molte escursioni anche di livello impegnativo! Good refuge in the upper Codera valley! It can be reached from various paths even if the shortest and most easily accessible is from Novate Mezzola! It is about 4 hours from the Novate car park! The managers of the refuge are very good and kind and always available to people passing by! Good food that is cooked with care and good prices in general for both eating and sleeping! From the refuge you have the opportunity to make many excursions, even at a challenging level!

Great dinner (3 dishes) and a a bit smaller (for a Polish big breakfast eater) are included in the price 51 euro (September 2020). Worth coming for food, views and mountains.
