v	valeria odierna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il rifugio si trova nella vallata ai piedi del ghiacciaio. La location è spettacolare, immersa nei prati e vicino al fiume. Non abbiamo pranzato al rifugio, ma siamo entrati per mangiare una fetta di torta e bere il caffè. La torta era ottima! Ambiente pulito e accogliente, la struttura è molto ben tenuta. The refuge is located in the valley at the foot of the glacier. The location is spectacular, surrounded by meadows and near the river. We didn't have lunch at the refuge, but we went in to eat a slice of cake and drink coffee. The cake was great! Clean and welcoming environment, the structure is very well maintained.

Insomma è riduttivo chiamarlo rifugio e vi invito a visitarlo al più presto I arrived there after a long trek in Val Dosdè and I found warmth, friendliness, cleanliness and good food in a suggestive environment. E	E on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purtroppo io e i miei amici siamo rimasti molto delusi dall'esperienza in questo rifugio. La cosa che più ci ha lasciati perplessi è stato il comportamento della proprietaria, che ci ha trattato con sgarbo: all'accenno di un brindisi per il compleanno di una di noi, è infatti venuta al nostro tavolo dicendoci in malo modo di non disturbare. Noi siamo rimasti spiazzati, perché non stavamo proprio disturbando... Certo, poi la signora si è scusata, ma ha smorzato tutto il nostro entusiasmo. Inoltre, per quanto riguarda il cibo, ci aspettavamo una vera cena da montagna, ma così non è stato: niente polenta (avevamo prenotato molto prima, per cui ci si sarebbe potuti organizzare), pizzoccheri o spezzatino, ma tagliatelle al ragù (buone, ma in Valtellina?), patate e arrosto (tra l'altro quest'ultimo servito freddo) e vino Chianti. Al momento del dolce abbiamo chiesto se ci fossero delle torte, e ci è stato risposto che "no, le teniamo per domani mattina"; beh, noi la mattina successiva non abbiamo visto nessuna torta. Esperienza deludente, mi spiace, ma non credo ci torneremo. Peccato, è stata l'unica nota stonata in un weekend nella bellissima Val Viola... The thing that most perplexed us was the behavior of the owner, who treated us with disrespect: at the hint of a toast for one of us's birthday, she came to our table and told us in a bad way not to disturb. We were blown away, because we weren't really disturbing ... Sure, then the lady apologized, but she dampened all our enthusiasm. Furthermore, as far as food is concerned, we expected a real mountain dinner, but it was not: no polenta (we had booked much earlier, so we could have organized), pizzoccheri or stew, but tagliatelle al ragù (good, but in Valtellina?), potatoes and roasts (among other things the latter served cold) and Chianti wine. At the moment of the dessert we asked if there were any cakes, and we were told that "no, we will keep them for tomorrow morning"; well, we didn't see any cake the next morning. Disappointing experience, sorry, but I don't think we'll be back. Too bad, it was the only discordant note in a weekend in the beautiful Val Viola ...

Comodamente raggiungibile permette di godere di ottimo cibo (malfatti e zuppa di orzo da leccarsi i baffi), ottima compagnia (ci si sente come a casa) e disponibilità di tutto il personale. Ciliegina sulla torta: le stelle cadenti! Ci torneremo! A 5-star refuge: beautiful, welcoming, in a splendid valley. Easily reachable, it allows you to enjoy excellent food (badly made and mouth-watering barley soup), excellent company (it feels like home) and the availability of all the staff. The icing on the cake: the shooting stars! We will be back!
m	marisa cappelli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Accoglienza familiare e disponibile. Rifugio facilmente accessibile a piedi su mulattiera, con breve camminata. La posizione soleggiata e il panorama aperto nel verde.....valgono la visita. Se poi restate a cena e fate il ritorno con le pile..... lo spettacolo del cielo stellato è davvero splendido. In rifugio la classica polenta con salsiccia o uova o formaggio ( anche tutto insieme) vi piacerà certamente. Per la sera conviene prenotare. Il rifugio è ben tenuto e carino. Adatto proprio a tutti ....famiglie, bambini, nonni e per chi vuole raggiungere mete più impegnative è un buon punto di partenza. Friendly and helpful welcome. Easily accessible refuge on foot on a mule track, with a short walk. The sunny position and the open landscape in the green ..... are worth the visit. And if you stay for dinner and return with the batteries ..... the spectacle of the starry sky is truly splendid. In the refuge you will certainly like the classic polenta with sausage or eggs or cheese (even all together). For the evening it is advisable to book. The hut is well maintained and nice. Suitable for everyone .... families, children, grandparents and for those who want to reach more challenging destinations it is a good starting point.
