Polenta, sausage, frico and ... canederli. Then, in order not to miss anything, sacher cake and apple sbrisolona cake. In short, a delicious Easter Monday menu. Staff very kind and helpful. To be recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cibo superlativo, vino della casa ottimo, rapporto qualità/prezzo magnifico. Personale simpatico cordiale veloce e organizzato. Per arrivarci sono bastate delle calzature adatte, ma nulla di particolare. Consiglio vivamente di prenotare nel fine settimana.
Superb food, excellent house wine, magnificent value for money. Nice friendly fast and organized staff. To get there, suitable footwear was enough, but nothing special. I highly recommend booking on the weekend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo weekend con un gruppo di amici al rifugio Nordio....facilmente accessibile....rifugio... ma con tutti i confort....doccia calda e stanze spaziose,pulite e con comodi letti.
Eravamo stanchi ma ci siamo abbondantemente rifocillati con un ottima cena....Luogo perfetto per trascorrere un weekend in mezzo alle montagne ♥️
Beautiful weekend with a group of friends at the Nordio refuge .... easily accessible .... refuge ... but with all the comforts .... hot shower and spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds.
We were tired but we have plenty of refreshments with an excellent dinner .... Perfect place to spend a weekend in the mountains ♥ ️

Aperto anche in inverno, purtroppo però la bellissima ed enorme terrazza non sfruttata: la neve non è stata rimossa e non è possibile pranzare/aperitivare all'esterno. Un peccato se la giornata è spendida.
Il rifugio si trova all'interno di un anello percorso da un sentiero, quindi meta a cui ambire per una meritata birra fresca.
Lo percorreremo quest'estate sperando di trovare posto in terrazza!!

Open also in winter, unfortunately, however, the beautiful and huge terrace is not used: the snow has not been removed and it is not possible to have lunch / aperitifs outside. A shame if the day is splendid.
The refuge is located within a ring crossed by a path, therefore a destination to aspire to for a well-deserved cold beer.
We will walk it this summer hoping to find a place on the terrace !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rifugio nuovo, bellissimo! Di rientro dalla salita al monte Oisternig, nonostante fossero le 15 ci hanno accolto con un sorriso e abbiamo potuto mangiare un piatto caldo.... Canederli agli spinaci super, gnocchi alle susine(non a tutti possono piacere in quanto sono dolci) buonissimi. Rifugio caldo e accogliente. Dal parcheggio in poco più di mezz'ora per comoda mulattiera.
New, beautiful refuge! Returning from the ascent to Mount Oisternig, despite being 3 pm they welcomed us with a smile and we were able to eat a hot dish .... Super spinach dumplings, plum dumplings (not everyone can like them as they are sweet) very good. Warm and welcoming retreat. From the parking lot in just over half an hour along an easy mule track.
