A chi si lamenta dei prezzi e del far pagare un euro e cinquanta il riempire la borraccia, faccio presente che i viveri vengono portati con l'elicottero. Ci sono piazze nel nostro bel paese dove caffè acqua costano molto di più e arrivano via terra...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piccola introduzione del percorso per arrivarci. Partendo dal parcheggio Coler (costo 5 euro e raggiungibile fino alle 10) in circa 3h30 e con una salita di circa 1100m si arriva al Rif. Dorigoni seguendo prima le cascate del Saent e poi il sentiero 106, che risulta ben tenuto e segnalato. In base al periodo, ci potrebbero essere dei tratti un po' fangosi e scivolosi, consigliati i scarponcini da trekking e bastoni. Il rifugio si trova in cima ad un promontorio e si gode di una bella vista della vallata sottostante. All'esterno ci sono molti tavoli da pic-nic ed una piccola cappella. Ci siamo fermati solo per il pranzo e siamo rimasti colpiti dalla gentilezza e disponibilità dei gestori. Ottime materie prime, piatti abbondanti e curati nell'impiattamento. Accettano le carte di pagamento. Sicuramente vale la pena affrontare il tragitto per visitare il rifugio.
Small introduction of the route to get there. Starting from the Coler car park (cost 5 euros and reachable until 10 am) in about 3h30 and with a climb of about 1100m you arrive at Rif. Dorigoni first following the Saent waterfalls and then path 106, which is well maintained and signposted. Depending on the period, there could be some muddy and slippery sections, trekking boots and poles are recommended. The refuge is located on top of a promontory and offers a beautiful view of the valley below. Outside there are many picnic tables and a small chapel. We only stopped for lunch and were impressed by the kindness and helpfulness of the managers. Excellent raw materials, abundant and well-finished dishes. They accept payment cards. The journey to visit the refuge is certainly worthwhile.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Accoglienza fantastica! siamo arrivati al rifugio dopo 3 ore di camminata sotto l'acqua con il cane al seguito: ci hanno fatto accomodare con il cane vicino al tavolo, abbiamo steso gli indumenti bagnati e usufruito delle ciabatte di cortesia a disposizione degli avventori.
Pranzo ottimo con piatti locali e cortesia eccezionale da parte di tutto lo staff. Perfetto!
Fantastic welcome! we arrived at the refuge after 3 hours of walking under the water with the dog in tow: they made us sit with the dog near the table, we laid out the wet clothes and made use of the courtesy slippers available to the customers.
Excellent lunch with local dishes and exceptional courtesy from all the staff. Perfect!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reach it starting from the big parking area located in Valle di Rabbi. You will enjoy one of the best easy walk you can have in this area. If your knees are good enough take the root to Rifugio Stella Alpina. Sleep there. Next day go on top of the mountain named Gleckspitz. Turn around 360 degrees.... wow!
