β β β β β They make you feel like you're home. Everything is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. The food is delicious and plentiful. They even have a sommelier. I recommend it with confidence.

β β β β β We visited the Rifugio Averau within our Alta Via 1 hike. The team was really supportive and did their best to help us enjoy our visit. They provided us with a tasty lunch, dinner and the best breakfast we hade during our trip. The shower and restrooms complemented our night at the Rifugio. If we could, we would gladly have extended our reservation.

β β β β β Watch out, this was the best dinner and breakfast out of all mountain huts in the Dolomites!
Oh so tasty! And the stuff was super nice and professional as well! We had starter, salad, main course and a desert!
Rooms are nice and cosy, warm showers of course, good toilets.
They speak English here and you can pay by card of course!

It was small and friendly and the food was amazing! Truly the best hut to stay at! We would come back in a heart beat!
Also had great vegetarian options!

β β β β β This is the most comfortable hut experience one can imagine. Roms and bathrooms are at *** hotel level of comfort, and the food is excellent. This place has by far the best breakfast on the Alta Via 1. The staff manages to stay kind and pleasant even when swarmed with guests, which is everyday in season. It's very, very busy.

β β β β β This is Insalata Averau. Raw cabbage, 2 slices of apple, 1 tea spoon of bacon and 1 tea spoon of cheese. Thatβs it. And price? 23 EUR! (15 +8 for service). This is italian skier robbery during the daylight, avoid this place from distance.
