D	Davide Cavadini Pilot on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bhe omio e gianetti sono i due rifugi d'obbligo per chi si avventura in val masino comunque un sentiero bello tosto con pendenze che si fanno sentire ma alla fine la fatica è ripagata dalla vista dello spaziante e suggestivo anfiteatro roccioso che ci si trova alle spalle Well omio and gianetti are the two must-see refuges for those who venture into Val Masino, however a nice path with slopes that make themselves felt but in the end the effort is rewarded by the view of the sprawling and suggestive rocky amphitheater that lies behind us.

Cucinano molto bene, sono gentilissimi e la birra artigianale aiuta a reintegrare i sali perduti con la sudata. The moderate effort to reach the refuge - the path is not long, but the slope is considerable - is abundantly rewarded by the beauty of the valley and the granite walls that dominate it, and by the welcome of the new managers. Ottimo punto di partenza per l'arrampicata, perfetto punto di appoggio per una fetta di torta durante un'uscita di trail running o per un pizzocchero dopo una semplice escursione. Pernottamento e cucina top. Prezzi adeguati! A little corner of paradise. Super courteous and helpful managers. Tempo da cartelli CAI: 2 ore e mezza, noi che andiamo molto spesso in montagna ci abbiamo impiegato 2 ore. La salita è fatta di molte alzate soprattutto in tutta la parte iniziale nel bosco, in linea generale la pendenza è sempre molto elevata e costante. Non credo sia un rifugio facilmente raggiungibile da tutti. Non vi sono però punti esposti, la difficoltà è legata alla pendenza. Posizione incantevole e incorniciata dalle montagne, con la neve poi era ancora più bello! Pranzo molto buono, prezzi in linea con quelli dei rifugi di montagna forse un pochino altino il prezzo della polenta. Nel complesso consiglio agli amanti di montagna con un allenamento di base di farci una visita. Refuge accessible from the parking lot of the former. Val Masino thermal establishment. Abbiamo mangiato dei buonissimi pizzoccheri e dei gnocchetti alle erbe e taleggio. Gestori super accoglienti e disponibili. La torta con miele e noci: una favola. Ragazzi, siete fortunati a lavorare in un ambiente così maestoso. Abbiatene cura e vi ripaghera con interessi! Ci rivederemo presto ? r	rick de haan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once you arrive after climbing to Omio you get welcomed by an arrogant and annoyed host. Probably because it is end of season, but you’d expect a more warm welcome. Then when you walk into the warm and cozy dining room you take place on the most uncomfortable bench you have ever sat on. Again, you’d expect a little more comfort after climbing up. There is not a single acceptable chair in the entire hut. Finally the food, you’d better bring your own as the canned and warmed food is as bad as it sounds. I’d advise everyone to take the route to rifugio gianetti and continue their trip from there.
