★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really sorry, I absolutely hate sharing bad reviews but we didn’t have a great night at this restaurant. We had the traditional hor d’ouevres to start and we tried everything, but didn’t like any of it, it was all cold and viciously pickled in some sort of liquor. Anyway we moved on to the mains where I had Tagliatelle Bolognese. Being in Italy I guess I naively assumed that this would be good quality, but unfortunately I would say I make better myself at home, the bolognese sauce was very poor and there wasn’t much of it. My wife had the meat mixed grill which was average at best. We then tried to go for a pudding to redeem itself, we shared the chocolate cake but this tasted entirely of marzipan and wasn’t well made.
Having said all of this the place is quite nice in the decor, the staff were very friendly and our Vesuvian wine was delicious, just completely let down by the quality of the food. Perhaps we just made bad menu choices? Thank you for your hospitality though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were the guests of this hotel and came to eat because we didn’t feel to drive to the town anymore. This is such a great restaurant!!! Really tasteful food, not expensive, kind people, cosy restaurant. The place to be when you are around! Believe me... you won’t regret it!
