A prima vista sembra non valerne la pena ma appena entrati ci si immerge in una location curata e accogliente. Qualsiasi portata si sceglierà c'è la sicurezza sia stata pensata e realizzata mettendoci impegno e tecnica, dagli antipasti ai dolci. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto di salumi, buoni ma non molto abbondanti. Poi ci siamo fatti tentare dalle carni, che vengono servite su una particolare piastra di sale. Abbiamo provato: Aloyau Flap Steak Black Angus e Secreto de Maiale Nero "De Bellota" Ottima la fetta di carne Black Angus, morbidissima e gustosa. E molto saporita la carne di maiale, che ricordava molto il classico sapore di costine. Vale sicuramente la pena tornarci per una cena speciale ? La gentilezza , cortesia, professionalità sono di casa. Preparazioni semplici ma molto allettanti, porzioni abbondanti . Mangeresti di tutto. Hanno un' ottima cantina. Il locale è molto ben curato esteticamente. Dal tagliere al dessert prodotti selezionati con materie prime di altissima qualità. Il tutto è accompagnato dalle descrizioni di ciò che si avrà nel piatto, cosa che apprezzo molto. Una carta dei vini ampia e ben selezionata che magari mette a disagio l'inesperto ma basandosi sui piatti ordinati si viene subito indirizzati al vino che si abbina meglio alle pietanze. Che dire, un'esperienza unica che ben presto rifaremo molto volentieri. We went to the RetroGusto restaurant thanks to a suggestion from a friend and I must say that it was a really good advice. The restaurant is very well cared for aesthetically. From cutting board to dessert, selected products with the highest quality raw materials. All this is accompanied by descriptions of what will be on the plate, which I really appreciate. An extensive and well-selected wine list that perhaps makes the inexperienced uneasy but based on the dishes ordered, one is immediately directed to the wine that best matches the dishes. What can I say, a unique experience that we will very gladly do again soon.
