Hidden at the end of beach road, La Pineta is a true culinary jem of the whole Tuscan seashore. Excellent and welcoming staff/service. Simple, yet excellent, tasty and delicious food. Everything from bread and starters to mains and dessert is made and served with true passion and sky-high cooking professionalism. Ask for a 'catch of the day' if you prefer just fish, or go for different types of seafood pasta.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let me start by saying the my family and I have been patrons of this fine establishment since the 1980's. (hence my Bias)
While numerous have been the iterations, what stands at the core of this place is umpresumptious excellence in the selection of the raw material . Out of 50 times I've been here I can only count on 3 fingers the times that a dish wasn't up to my expectations. Recently prized with 1 Michelin star, (the only one in the area) LA Pineta boasts a wine list of 2100 bottles, historic twin waiters are able consiglieri in that department.
Great attention to cooking methods and times, enable both Chefs and Onwer to deliver the purest flavors of the Tirrenian sea and wider Mediterranean.
Make sure to reserve with a good week or more in advance if you're planning to go during the summer season and/or on weekends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful meal by the sea. Completely lived up to expectations. One of the finest seafood restaurants we’ve ever experienced. Very deep and fairly priced wine list as well. A must if you are in Bolgheri or Bibbona.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marvellous dining, right on the seaside. EXTENSIVE wine list, fresh French oysters (fines de claire). Great service. Reservations absolutely necessary, this is the only 1-Star Michelin restaurant in the area. Well worth it, though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cinque stelle, como sempre. Since long before our first visit in 2013, Famiglia Zazzeri and team have been serving sublime seafood in this beachfront, Michelin starred location. Difficult to choose between the long, lazy lunches and elegant, sunset dinners but thankfully you can again, post-covid, enjoy both. A very deep and extensive wine list, and Andrea will always suggest something new, local and under the radar. His brother is now firmly in control of the kitchen, and even when things are rocking out front, he still makes time to greet the guests, a true professional, in the family tradition.
