Good wine list, with some lovely French & Italian sparklings.
Excellent and so genuine seafish, most caught by restaurant owners with their own fishing boat.
Sea fish and shellfish are impeccably cooked.
Good value for money.
It deserves a try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good food and wait staff. Our waiter suggested a wine that my sommelier brother in law never would have tried. It was delightful. He also suggested a whole fish that was amazing. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an overall unpleasant experience. The waiter took a long time to recieve us and seemed quite disturbed to serve us a simple fish platter and two glasses of wine. The food was good but the experience not. As the Romans would say... mala tempora currant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant has 2 parts, one for street food and we went into the proper restaurant. Specialized in seafood and claims catch of the day. Really tasty and beautifully presented. I go fishing a lot and can testify that the seafood jhas the taste.of the sea. Cannot miss this in the area. One of my best meal in my last 3 weeks holiday in Swiss and Italy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This used to be one of Cecina’s best seafood restaurants. We ate here many times throughout the years. What happened? We haven’t had a decent meal at El Faro in our last 3 visits. I’m giving it 2 stars only for the beautiful sea view .
