β β β β β Really bad service and average drinksβ¦you pay for the view and thatβs it. Be aware they wonβt let you sit close to the water in the first row unless you eat. So donβt bother if you just want drinks.

Pricey but worth it for the views. The Cous Cous salad is nice. There was a slight sandy feel to the vegetarian penne pasta.

β β β β β The service was terrible and the staff were very slow and not responsive; hence the bad service.
The food portion were very small, and do not provide a good value for money. We got charged for items we did not order.
The restaurant is such a waste for the beautiful view and area it is located within.
Avoid at all costs.

β β β β β Wonderful view and a good quality of drinks. I'd love to give a higher mark, but the service was outrageous. They tried to give us wrong drinks twice, which should be served to the next table. Each time me and my partner pointed out the mistake, but nobody corrected it and our proper drinks would have been served to the other table if we hadn't intervened. We complained about the situation, still the service insisted it was not their fault (who was, then?). Eventually we got our order, but the other guests didn't, even when they made their own complaint. Very sad and unprofessional approach by the bar.

β β β β β Very pleasant outdoor spot with a great view and delicious spaghetti. Good service and nice staff. We were able to walk up and get a waterside table, but noticed most of the waterfront tables were reserved. This place has a much better view and food than many of the cafes in Varenna, so if you are day tripping over from Varenna, eat here before you head back!

β β β β β I would love to give it more, because its location is beautiful and drinks are very tasty, but the service is horrendous - we had our drinks switched with the neighbouring table TWICE and if it wasn't for our intervention, we would be sipping other table's order - we had at last received our drinks, but the other table, even though they made a complaint, no one has eventually served them. Absolute lack of respect for the guests. Too bad.

β β β β β We dined here once. The food was ok, I would not consider it exceptional. This restaurant,like the others along the water are all about the views. As with most of the other restaurants service is minimal. They take your order and bring the food. You are going to have to make a pretty large effort to get attention after that to order dessert or anything else. Getting your check is a challenge, itβs best just to go up to the checkout and pay.
