Abbiamo noleggiato una vespa 50 che in 5 giorni ci ha lasciato a piedi 2 volte. Nonostante la prima volta il servizio di “pronto intervento” sia stato rapido (ma ahimè non definitivamente risolutivo), la seconda volta abbiamo deciso di lasciarglielo pur di non avere ulteriori problemi. In entrambi i casi chi è venuto ad assistere è anche stato gentile, ma se l’è cavata con un “mi dispiace”.
Per un servizio che di certo non è economico, lo scusarsi non basta.
Poca professionalità e scooter troppo scadente.

We rented a Vespa 50 which in 5 days left us walking 2 times. For a service that is certainly not cheap, apologizing is not enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo noleggiato un’auto per due volte in una settimana presso questa attività, in entrambi i casi la titolare e i suoi collaboratori si sono dimostrati molto disponibili ad accontentare le nostre richieste. Mi stupisco delle recensioni negative, evidentemente chi le pubblica ritiene di dover pagare un’auto quanto un biglietto dell’autobus.

We rented a car twice in a week at this business, in both cases the owner and her collaborators proved to be very willing to satisfy our requests. I am amazed by the negative reviews, evidently those who publish them believe they have to pay for a car as much as a bus ticket.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un'esperienza pessima, lo scooter che mi hanno dato era un sh 125 che aveva freni usurati (appena premevo la leva si sentiva per tutta ischia il fischio), la frizione da cambiare assolutamente (ad ogni partenza il motorino tremava affinché non raggiungesse un pò di velocità), il manubrio non in asse con la ruota infatti ad ogni curva sembrava che andasse dritto. I prezzi possono sembrare convenienti rispetto ad altri ma non lo sono perché l'ho preso per una settimana e mi è costato più di 35 euro al giorno mentre altri con motorini nuovi ne prendono 40 o al massimo 45 ma consiglio vivamente di spendere quelle 30 euro in più. Ah e senza contare che il motorino un paio di volte si è spento ed era a dir poco fatiscente (gli sfasciacarrozze te li danno in uno stato più gradevole), e infine 2 caschi che erano sporchi e malandato e uno dei 2 se ne usciva dal guscio esterno come se avesse già preso qualche caduta.
A very bad experience, the scooter they gave me was a sh 125 that had worn brakes (as soon as I pressed the lever you could hear the whistle all over the ischia), the clutch absolutely had to be changed (at each start the motor trembled so that it did not reach a little of speed), the handlebars not aligned with the wheel in fact at every bend it seemed to go straight. The prices may seem affordable compared to others but they are not because I took it for a week and it cost me more than 35 euros a day while others with new mopeds take 40 or at most 45 but I highly recommend spending those 30 euros more. Oh and not to mention that the scooter went off a couple of times and was dilapidated to say the least (the junkyards give them to you in a more pleasant state), and finally 2 helmets that were dirty and run down and one of the 2 came out of the outer shell as if it had already taken a few falls.

Perfectly functioning scooter and very kind staff. Convenient location for those who land in Ischia Porto. I had booked a scooter 50 for two days; being two, they gave us a 125 for the same price.

Seppur avessimo richiesto una panda vecchio modello da 30€ al giorno, ce n’é stata consegnata una con piú di 150.000 km, sfasciata, con un solo specchietto esterno retrovisore, senza tergicristalli anteriori (dalla foto, al momento della consegna, si può notare perfettamente che i tergicristalli non fossero stati tolti, come ci é stato accusato dal gestore del noleggio, ma la macchina non ne era proprio dotata fin dall‘inizio). Non era nemmeno possibile chiudere a chiave l’auto. Assolutamente pericoloso circolare con un veicolo simile, vergogna!
La macchina non era assolutamente a norma per poter circolare per strada! É impossibile che sia risultata idonea al momento della revisione.

It was not even possible to lock the car. Absolutely dangerous to drive with such a vehicle, shame!
The car was absolutely not up to standard to be able to circulate on the street! It is impossible that she was eligible at the time of the review.

we were supposed to rent scooters for the day in order too discover the island but the experience did not go well.
In fact, they cashed in the location (around 85 euros) and AFTER they said that we didn't have enough experience.. After more than 5 years of driver's license ? Who it can be ?
But they told us that they could not refund the taxes so they just give us back 65 euros over the 85 euros paid. Is it a scam?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented a 4 person Smart Car. That's automatic for my American friends. The car was perfect for the narrow winding roads. As you know, for those of us manually-transmission challenged drivers, it can be difficult to find an automatic during the busy season. There is at least one other place on the island that we looked into. They had an automatic and were very friendly, but for other reasons, having nothing to do with the other company, we chose Del Franco. Their service turned out to be even more important than the car. We needed a 6 person vehicle and had to settle for a manual Subaru mini van. A day later we decided to downgrade to the automatic. We weren't going to be driving 6 people around the island. Del Franco switched cars, no problem. We also had to extend it one day. Also not a problem. Highly recommend.
