★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is basically a guy sat under a parasol on the edge of the harbour just inland of the ferry landing with an 'A' board advertising his prices etc.
We just stumbled upon this hire service as we were strolling around Lazise and they managed to fit us in with only a 20 min wait (which passed quickly in the gelateria opposite :-D).
Hired a 40hp boat for €160 for 3 hours including fuel. 3 hours is enough time to head over to Sirmione explore the peninsula then head to Desenzano del Garda and explore the east coast of the lake northwards all the way to the palace on Isola del Garda then across to Garda and south to Bardolino and Cisano then back into Lazise.
The boats were clean and clearly well maintained.
Hire was available for as little as 1 hour upto all day. CASH ONLY and €200 deposit required (according to the contract you sign although they didn't ask for the deposit in the end :-D ).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We called and asked if we could rent a boat, they said it is possible at 2 o clock. We drove there, so they asked if we want to rent today. We agreed so they said, it is only possible for families, due to corona. If corona doesnt end tomorrow, their questions didnt make any sense.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very professional staff, well maintained boat. 160€ for 3h in a 40hp boat may sound much, but is still reasonable because it’s customary im the area. And here, you enter and leave your boat right in the middle of Lazise, with no transfer shuttle boat required. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent boat rental. I’m used to more powerful boats back in the UK but 40hp was still brilliant fun. We hired for 2 hours and had plenty of time to get way up lake Garda. The guy gave clear instructions and lifted the prop for me to check prior to us taking over the boat. (Advice is to take a photo of prop then you avoid any confusion if you do cause damage, or not).
I would use Rent Da Gianni again. Well worth the money and great service.
