★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small airport with very few flights. There is no facility at all in the gate area, only some vending machines.
It is well connected with with Reggio Calabria and via Villa San Giovanni. It is also easy to reach Messina in Sicily, with ferries from Villa San Giovanni or fast boats from Reggio Calabria

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A tiny airport with almost no facilities. Do NOT trust their webpage.
If you're arriving: The airport is pretty close to the city centre, but the public transport operates infrequently, and the schedules are not coordinated with fligh arrivals. Taxis are nothing but a rip-off!
If you're departing: First, check-in and security are a mess. It will certainly take some time. Second: departure hall is extremely basic. Some uncomfortable chairs (too few for two flights departing simulatenously) and a couple of vending machines. Bar is closed with a solid chain.
