★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have just sat down, take your belongings and leave now. Total tourist trap. When you sit, the woman comes to you and ask you what you would like, offering no menu with price list. When you ask the menu, you realise prices are high in comparison with other places around. We ordered just a drink which clearly upsetted her. We arrived the first ones on the small alleyway among 6 other tables. She decided never to deliver the drink, we left.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was very good and the prices are quite reasonable, but as other reviews state, the service was a little slow and the bowls had chips all over them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After walking around lovely Lecce we were quite hungry. We just came from the Piazza Del Duomo and spotted this little place. We didn't check reviews before, but liked the setting outside and gave it a try.
There's a good number of tables inside, some outside in front and as well on the side. In August you want to choose one in the shade, 'cause it really gets hot here in summer.
There weren't many guests that sunday. There weren't many visitors in town in general, so getting a nice table was easy. Service was very friendly and attentive and the lady manager (owner?) was very friendly as well and quite liked our dog very much, which was more than welcome here at the restaurant.
We ordered two local beers and the meat/cheese platter for two for 25 Euros, which did seem a bit pricey at first. But only at first.
Along with the platter came a basket full of bread and other nibbled. There were about five kinds of different meat cuts (Serrano ham, salami etc.) and around five different cuts of cheese (two of each!) Most cow milk cheese, some with Chili, some aged in wine and one goat cheese. Chutney was served with. Both the meat and cheese was high in quality. And easily the best meat/cheese platter we've had on our five week Italy Road Trip. And we did have lots of meat cuts and cheese. And this one beats them all! So much flavour in the meat, properly aged and really just the best cuts. The cheese wasn't a mass product at all and each piece was unique. We were really thrilled. After the beer we've ordered some white wine.
They serve other meals of course as well. We've seen some pasta dishes on other tables. Didn't look that exciting. But just speaking of our meal: A fantastic choice for a lunch for two. And in the end worth every buck. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quiet, nice place in the historic centre of Lecce. We were seated in the side street, so as to enjoy some shadow at lunch time. We loved our food - delicious burratta and prosciuto antipasti, a good portion of tagliatelli with ragu and parmigiana melanzane. All up to our standards. We were too tempted by the food to take photos of the main meals :). There’s seating on barrels in front and an inside area.
