★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and peaceful camping ground right in the middle of town. We even found room for the 15th of August which in Italy can be a bit of a mission. Good for a one night stopover or for longer stays. Bathrooms were excellent.

Big “Big Matze” Matze on Google
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hiking tour of about 2,5hrs and 500 altimeters (starting from the Strada dello Vino) through a wonderful gorge. Beautiful rock formations, impressive main waterfall, many other beautiful spots.
Great vista point looking out over Lake Kaltern at the top.
Nice roundtrip to the gorge entrance if you turn right (north) when returning from the topside vista point and follow the hiking route 13 to the main entry point of the gorge. From there backtrack the initial route to either the parking lot or to the Strada dello Vino.
Sturdy hiking boots as well as a light jacket (parts of the gorge are lying in the shade) recommended.
