★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Da Piazza Mercatale è possibile raggiungere Palazzo Ducale percorrendo questa ampia scala a chiocciola che i duchi di Montefeltro utilizzavano per salire a cavallo.
La rampa è all'interno di un possente torrione che si trova a ridosso delle mura vicino al punto di informazioni turistiche.
Suggestivo il percorso sia in salita che in discesa.
From Piazza Mercatale it is possible to reach Palazzo Ducale along this wide spiral staircase that the Dukes of Montefeltro used to ride on horseback.
The ramp is inside a mighty tower which is located close to the walls near the tourist information point.
The route both uphill and downhill is suggestive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La rampa elicoidale realizzata dall'Architetto Francesco di Giorgio Martini nel 400 consente dal parcheggio del Mercatale di raggiungere in poco tempo il centro storico della città. All'interno si organizzano eventi ed attività culturali come mostre ecc. All'uscita si sviluppa il portico che conduce direttamente in Piazza della Repubblica che costituisce il cuore pulsante della città Ducale . Se si svolta sulla destra appare al visitatore la maestosa ed elegante facciata del Palazzo ducale.
The helical ramp built by the architect Francesco di Giorgio Martini in the 15th century allows you to quickly reach the historic center of the city from the Mercatale car park. Inside are organized cultural events and activities such as exhibitions etc. At the exit the portico develops which leads directly to Piazza della Repubblica which is the beating heart of the Ducal city. If you turn right, the majestic and elegant facade of the Doge's Palace appears to the visitor.
