Dico solo che dopo aver detto dove passare al conducente del taxi, lui decide di fare autostrada e mezzo giro di Genova perché a suo dire "è più rapido". Io faccio presente che conoscendo le strade di dove abito avremmo fatto decisamente prima facendo il percorso da me illustrato. Risultato?! mi sono ritrovato a girovagare per tutta la città a bordo del taxi... Preventivo online di spesa (fatto dopo per vedere quale strada indicassero)? 17€ con le stesse strade da me indicate... Costo totale reale grazie al taxi?! 33€. Sicuramente un servizio che mi limiterò a prendere in futuro solo in caso di emergenza totale. I don't put the code of the taxi out of politeness ... I'm just saying that after telling the taxi driver where to go, he decides to take the motorway and half a tour of Genoa because he says "it's faster". I would like to point out that knowing the streets where I live we would have done much earlier by following the path I illustrated. Result?! I found myself wandering around the city in a taxi ... Online cost estimate (done later to see which street they indicated)? 17 € with the same roads as indicated by me ... Total real cost thanks to the taxi ?! € 33. Definitely a service that I will limit myself to taking in the future only in the event of a total emergency.

Per 20 minuti scarsi di tragitto il conducente mi ha chiesto 29.60 euro perché avevo le valigie. Ma è mai possibile? Ho viaggiato lungo lo stesso tragitto moltissime volte e sempre con gli stessi bagagli e mai nessuno mi ha fatto pagare così tanto adducendo come motivazione le valigie.. Sono esterefatta e mi chiedo se sia legale una cosa del genere. Tonight, like many other times, I took a taxi to go to the station. For a mere 20 minutes, the driver asked me for 29.60 euros because I had suitcases. But is that ever possible? I have traveled the same route many times and always with the same baggage and no one has ever made me pay so much on the suitcases as a motivation. I am amazed and I wonder if such a thing is legal.

Asked the driver if this is really correct he wanted to throw us (a family) out of the car on a big street with no pedestrian area at all. Taxi driver explained taxameter starts when he starts his tour to pick up the guests. Is this true?
r	roseann bozinos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paolo saves the day!!! Our last day in beautiful Genova and my husband leaves his phone in the taxi. Paolo and the taxi company went out of their way to make sure the phone was returned to us. We as New Yorkers were not expecting to recover the phone but in this wonderful country of Italy they are truly gracious! We cannot thank you enough!!! Grazie!! ??❤️??

Finally when I asked him to stop so we could walk across he refused and ended up making a u-turn. In total our fare came to €22 where as a friend coming from and going to exactly the same place an hour later was charged €15.
