Una ex base NATO abbandonata, con incredibili e giganti radar che facevano da ponte tra ovest ed est nella trasmissione di dati sensibili. Nelle giornate terse si vede tranquillamente la costa toscana da una parte e l’Appennino ToscoEmiliano dall’altra. Nella stagione che va da maggio a settembre è un ottimo posto per ammirare la via lattea. Incredible charm place. An abandoned former NATO base, with incredible giant radar bridges between west and east in the transmission of sensitive data. On clear days you can easily see the Tuscan coast on one side and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines on the other. In the season from May to September it is a great place to admire the Milky Way.
L	Lorenzo Zanotti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vista stupenda e luogo affascinante. Il posto è la location ti fa ripercorrere la storia passata. Per arrivare al cancello la strada è messa abbastanza male. In moto ci si arriva, ma non mancano pezzi abbastanza difficili di ghiaia. Con una moto stesa è impossibile farla. Lo stato delle paraboloidi è ottimo, mentre i locali sono allo sfascio. Le foto parlano da sole. Stunning view and fascinating place. The place is the location makes you retrace past history. To get to the gate the road is quite bad. You can get there by motorbike, but there are plenty of difficult pieces of gravel. With an extended motorcycle it is impossible to do it. The state of the paraboloids is excellent, while the premises are in disrepair. The photos speak for themselves.
M	Massimo Dallaglio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo veramente interessante sotto diversi aspetti; da questo privilegiato punto di osservazione si può godere di una fantastica vista che nei giorni più sereni, senza foschia, può consentire di scorgere il mare. Ma il punto forte sono sicuramente le vecchie installazioni militari, le grandi parabole con consentivano a questa base di diffondere i messaggi criptati a tutte le basi NATO del mediterraneo. Really interesting place in several respects; from this privileged observation point you can enjoy a fantastic view that on clearer days, without mist, can allow you to see the sea. But the strong point is certainly the old military installations, the large parables with allowed this base to spread encrypted messages to all NATO bases in the Mediterranean.

Sarebbe utile un po' di manutenzione da parte del comune al fine di mettere in sicurezza si la zona che la strada. La strada per arrivare è al limite della percorribilità con le auto, procedere con estrema cautela a causa di buche piuttosto profonde e tratti in cui l'asfalto è del tutto andato Very nice place as you can see from the photos. The majesty of these infrastructures immersed in a mostly uncontaminated territory is fascinating. C	Christian Daimo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vista mozzafiato a 360 gradi sull'appennino e sulle alpi apuane. Per arrivare davanti al cancello con la macchina ci vuole una piccola jeep o un veicolo alto da terra. Infatti, l'asfalto è molto rovinato per quasi tutti i 3 km del tracciato. Le parabole sono imponenti e ancora intatte, le strutture sono state vergognosamente vandalizzate. Cmq si legge ancora bene l'organizzazione della base. C'è anche un bunker sotterraneo (pericolante)con due accssi. Breathtaking 360 degree view of the Apennines and the Apuan Alps. To get in front of the gate with the car it takes a small jeep or a vehicle high off the ground. In fact, the asphalt is very damaged for almost all the 3 km of the track. The parables are imposing and still intact, the structures have been shamefully vandalized. Anyway you can still read the organization of the base well. There is also an underground (unsafe) bunker with two access points.
E	Evo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Toller LostPlace und Super Ausblick! Es lohnt sich dort hoch zu fahren. Mit einem Geländewagen oder etwas höherem Auto schafft man es. Sonst würde ich davon abraten. Lieber 3 Km laufen. Wir sind bis oben hin gefahren und man kommt Problemlos auf das Gelände. Great LostPlace and great view! It's worth driving up there. You can do it with an off-road vehicle or a slightly higher car. Otherwise I would advise against it. Better to walk 3 km. We drove to the top and you can easily get onto the site.

Il paesaggio all'orizzonte ci è apparso come un mare di nuvole che coprivano la gran parte delle colline facendo emergere solamente i picchi più alti come fossero scogli. In più ci è arrivata una brezza calda primaverile ( 16 gradi ) strana per il periodo. La ex base poi sembra un set di un film. Bello. Spectacular, visited on January 1st 2022 and we found ourselves in front of a unique spectacle. The landscape on the horizon appeared to us as a sea of clouds that covered most of the hills, making only the highest peaks emerge as if they were rocks. Plus we got a warm spring breeze (16 degrees) weird for the period. The former base looks like a movie set. Handsome.
