Non ho notato grandi bellezze se non la chiesa principale, originale però il clima che lo pervade sia a pranzo che a cena, fra gli stretti vicoli e le piccole piazzette, dove si trovano numerosissimi ristorantini tipici romaneschi tutti affollati.
Typical neighborhood, to see if you visit the city. I have not noticed great beauties except the main church, but the original atmosphere that pervades it both at lunch and dinner, between the narrow alleys and small squares, where there are many typical Roman restaurants all crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un po' inflazionato dal suo principio, come il contiguo quartiere Testaccio (altra centralissima eterna promessa), specie al cospetto del centro di viale Marconi (anche se quest'ultima strada è un po' meno centrale rispetto alle apparenze) causa trascuratezza delle precedenti amministrazioni e la presenza della stazione ferroviaria che si è rivelata un'arma a doppio taglio. Si vivacizza dal punto di vista umano col mercato di Porta Portese, si vivacizza come divertimento - specie notturno - proseguendo per Piazza Sonnino, poi Trilussa (movida per giovanissimi, i cui componenti pseudouniversitari sembrano rimpiangere l'età adolescenziale in cui trattavano Campo dei Fiori), fino a lasciare spazio all'isola Tiberina (specie d'estate) e Largo Argentina. Comodo anche se angosciante perché sovraffollato, specie la domenica, il servizio tranviario, idem per i servizi bus (con macchinette che non danno il resto e qualche autista arrogante). Attività commerciali a profusione: alcuni locali cambiano gestione dopo pochi mesi, con bar che hanno avuto un gestore l'anno; altri funzionano da parecchio, nel bene o nel male. La zona del ministero della pubblica Istruzione, al di là del suo valore, è più spoglia, moscia e triste di quanto si possa immaginare.
A little inflated by its principle, like the contiguous Testaccio district (another central eternal promise), especially in the presence of the center of viale Marconi (even if this last street is a little less central than appearances) due to the neglect of the previous administrations and the presence of the railway station which turned out to be a double-edged sword. It enlivens from the human point of view with the Porta Portese market, it is enlivened as fun - especially at night - going on to Piazza Sonnino, then Trilussa (nightlife for very young, whose pseudo-university members seem to regret the adolescent age in which they treated Campo dei Fiori) , until leaving space for the Tiber Island (especially in summer) and Largo Argentina. Convenient even if distressing because it is overcrowded, especially on Sundays, the tram service, ditto for the bus services (with machines that do not give change and some arrogant drivers). Business activities in profusion: some premises change management after a few months, with bars having a manager year; others have been working for a long time, for better or for worse. The area of the Ministry of Education, beyond its value, is more bare, mushy and sad than one might imagine.
