★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una volta il quartiere più bello dello della città, un autentico enorme giardino nel mezzo della città.
Al limite della via IV novembre che taglia in due la zona ci sono: Viale Cavour con ben due ville in autentico stile liberty, palazzi in stile razionslista, i resti di una antica chiesa templare, dove attualmente rimane soltanto il chiostro con colonnato, del monastero del guazza barbuzzo, così chiamato per un enorme abbeveratoio di pietra che vi era nel centro esatto del colonnato, dove abbeverare i cavalli, poi diventato Tempio della Rocca, poiché vi precipitò o vi portarono un'enorme meteorite che prese il posto della fontana, poi nel diciannovesimo secolo venne sostituito da bellissimi rossi, e il nome venne cambiato in Monastero della Rosa.
Sull'altro versante della via, vi sono le punte dei bastioni a forma di punta di freccia che circondavano la cittadella del Papa che occupava diverse centinaia di metri quadri .
Aveva una mura a firma pentagonale e fornita di cinque torrioni a firma di freccia, in virtù di bastioni di difesa.
Venne abbattuta nel 1861 quando venne istituita la monarchia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Verde mal gestito. Alberi troppo potati e di scarsa qualità. Si può fare davvero molto meglio (con poca spesa). Il prato, una volta alberato pure quello, é mal ridotto.
Green poorly managed. Over pruned and poor quality trees. You can really do much better (with little expense). The lawn, once planted as well, is poorly reduced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mi piace stare qui a fumarmi una sigaretta, seduta su una panchina tra gli alberi che perdono le foglie. Bellissime... come un tappeto d'oro rosso, di rame e oro giallo punteggiato dal verde stentato che ancora sopravvive al calare inesorabile dell'Autunno.
I like to be here smoking a cigarette, sitting on a bench among the trees that are losing their leaves. Beautiful ... like a carpet of red gold, copper and yellow gold punctuated by the broken green that still survives the inexorable fall of Autumn.
