R	Roberto De Sanctis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scopro il locale di Stefano e Domenico qualche tempo fa perché piazza Amba Alagi è un luogo dove per lavoro o diletto mi trovo a passare sovente. Come si dice, dagli e dagli... una sera entro e vengo colpito dalla quiete che si respira nella sala del locale, sono in molti a 'sbicchierare' ma la sensazione è di essere in una Montmartre romana e garbata, tutto è quieto, nulla a che vedere col folle traffico dell'adiacente via Nomentana o della Tangenziale Est. Sul principio penso a uno scrigno, mi viene in mente una clessidra e la sabbia che attraversa l'imbuto per misurare il tempo che passa, ed io sono coccolato dal suo rumore, da questo piccolo spazio di "non Roma" dove tutto il caos rimane fuori e dove si può conversare amabilmente scoprendo il carattere dei vitigni presenti nelle più disparate parti della nostra Penisola. Non cerco mai vino estero da Qualbuonvino, forse ne hanno, ma preferisco assaggiare regioni e parlarne amabilmente. Un elegante simposio. I discovered Stefano and Domenico's place some time ago because Piazza Amba Alagi is a place where I often pass by for work or pleasure. As they say, give it and give it ... one evening I enter and I am struck by the quiet that reigns in the room of the restaurant, there are many to 'sbicchierare' but the feeling is to be in a Roman and polite Montmartre, everything is quiet, nothing to do with the crazy traffic of the adjacent Via Nomentana or the Tangenziale Est. At first I think of a casket, I think of an hourglass and the sand that crosses the funnel to measure the time that passes, and I am pampered by the its noise, from this small space of "not Rome" where all the chaos remains outside and where you can chat amiably while discovering the character of the vines present in the most disparate parts of our Peninsula. I never look for foreign wine from Qualbuonvino, maybe they have some, but I prefer to taste regions and talk about them amiably. An elegant symposium.

La scelta dei vini è molto ampia e accompagnata da ottime pietanze preparate al momento e Mimmo e Stefano sapranno consigliare al meglio ogni cliente. Il posto è curato e attento alle misure di sicurezza e il prezzo è onestissimo e adatto ad ogni esigenza. Per me è una seconda casa. Assolutamente da provare. Any time of day is perfect to pass by in this place where the owners will treat you with kindness, attention and speed, whether for an aperitif for a dinner or for an after dinner. The choice of wines is very wide and accompanied by excellent dishes prepared at the moment and Mimmo and Stefano will be able to advise each customer in the best possible way. The place is well-kept and attentive to safety measures and the price is very honest and suitable for every need. For me it is a second home. Absolutely to try.

The gentleman working there was so incredibly kind and helpful. I told him I didn't speak Italian and he was extremely helpful with trying to explain the different wine in what English that he knew. I ended up liking one so much that I bought a case (6 bottles) of it and they are shipping it back to my home in the states. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING so I don't have to worry about my suitcase being too heavy.
