Ahimè ho dovuto parcheggiare su un lato della strada in quanto vi erano molte persone che andavano a mangiare nei ristoranti limitrofi. Poco dopo imboccato il sentiero c'è un cartello che indica la pendenza non indifferente da affrontare,pendenza che accompagnerà per tutto il percorso. Abbastanza breve ma intenso,la vista dalla cima appaga a pieno la fatica. I left Sale Marasino on Easter Monday. Alas, I had to park on one side of the road as there were many people who went to eat in the neighboring restaurants. Shortly after taking the path there is a sign indicating the not indifferent slope to be tackled, a slope that will accompany the entire route. Quite short but intense, the view from the top fully satisfies the effort.

La vista in cima è stupenda, e anche se c'era qualche nuvola ci ha permesso comunque di godere del bellissimo panorama del lago. I sentieri sono ben segnalati e tenuti. La passeggiata è consigliata e accessibile a tutti! Ci sono dei bellissimi fiorellini nei campi! Starting from Portole we reached the top by following the anti-clockwise ring! The view from the top is wonderful, and even if there were some clouds, it still allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. The trails are well marked and maintained. The walk is recommended and accessible to everyone! There are beautiful little flowers in the fields!

L	Laura Suardi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima escursione iniziata da Portole dove abbiamo lasciato l'auto per poi iniziare il percorso lungo il sentiero ad anello delle malghe. Il primo tratto è un po' difficoltoso per il dislivello impegnativo fino alla Forcella di Sale, poi il percorso si ammorbidisce e diventa piacevole. A metà del percorso circa si giunge camminando in cresta sulla vetta del monte, alla Croce di Punta Almana, dalla quale si gode di una vista meravigliosa sull'intero Lago di Iseo con Monteisola proprio di fronte, del Monte Guglielmo e della Val Trompia. La discesa verso Pastina non è semplicissima, abbastanza ripida, ci ha riportati seguendo le indicazioni al luogo della partenza dove abbiamo lasciato l'auto. Giro durato circa 3 ore e mezza, percorsi 12 km con un dislivello di 950 mt. Consiglio vivamente! Beautiful excursion started from Portole where we left the car and then started the route along the ring path of the malghe. The first part is a bit difficult due to the challenging height difference up to the Forcella di Sale, then the path softens and becomes pleasant. About halfway along the route you reach the Croce di Punta Almana by walking on the ridge on the top of the mountain, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the entire Lake of Iseo with Monteisola just in front of you, of Monte Guglielmo and of the Val Trompia. The descent towards Pastina is not easy, quite steep, it brought us back to the place of departure where we left the car following the signs. Tour lasted about 3 and a half hours, covered 12 km with a difference in height of 950 meters. I highly recommend!
