Top of a high mountain, easy to reach, great landscape and sense of conquer. Isn't it enough?

Absolutely incredible views from the top looking over the entire lake. Highly recommend! I started in Vello (exit train station, cross road above and follow the signs) and I followed the 'normale' path which had lots of photo opportunities, and it took me 2 and a half hours to the summit which included a handful of small breaks - though I do regular hikes. The track is under tree cover the first hour, then is exposed to the sun so if you are doing it on a hot day, make sure you bring at least 3 litres water (that's what I had on a 30+deg day and that was the minimum needed!) The track is quite complex in the last hour, requiring all 4 limbs to climb but is really quite fun! I had a half hour lunch at the top - bring an extra layer as it is cool at the top with a breeze. I tried to take the 'vertical' path back to Vello but could not find the turnoff, so instead I went down through Zone and actually worked really well as I went through Cislano and saw the unbelievable Pyramids, and was then able to follow another trail through the bush down into Marone. Overall it took me 6 hours (from Vello - summit Corna Trentapassi - Zone - Cislano - Marone). Overall a great day and definitely needed a swim at the end!

Amazing view from the Top! You can see most of Orobie alps with Presolana in front of you ... Of course all Iseo lake and Montisola ! In clean sky day you can see top of Adamello grad Zebru and many others ... Very step path if you choose the CornaTrentapassi vertical !
