★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I just completed an 11 day cycle tour (which is 9 days of riding) from Matera to Otranto then Lecce. We were very pleased with all aspects of the trip
-maps and Garmin allowed us to follow the routes without ever getting lost.
-most routes were on quiet backroads
-all the accommodations were high quality
-Antonio and Mimmo provided any necessary assistance promptly
-the bicycles were in excellent condition
-descriptions were provided for each town visited, with what to see and where to eat.
- each town had its own character
- this particular trip is for experienced stronger cyclists who can bike a hybrid up to 60 kms with up to 600 metre elevation gain.
-Thomas answered all our questions by email before and after we paid for the trip

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just completed 8 day unguided cycle trip from Matera to Ostuni! All equipment and accommodation were first rate. Hotels were way nicer than I would book myself! Although it was just my husband and myself, we soon became part of 5 other self guided cyclists doing the same tour, often cycling and meeting up for dinner. Still very much doing our own thing but loved sharing our time with our new friends, Amos & Jean, Pam & Diane, and John.

With the unforgettable nice and fun Mimmo we cycled throgh the fields of Puglia for a one week. Unforgettable and fun. Mimmo is the best guide you can imagine. Now we know also much about wine and olive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just completed 11day guided trip with Mimmo. We had one of the best holidays ever. Mimmo was amazing with his wealth of local knowledge (& food and wine) but most importantly he always put our safety first. Hotels were all very good/ excellent and 2 of the best meals we had were at 2 of the places we stayed. My recommendation is: go with the guide, it's fun and i think you get so much more out of the experience and a more interesting route.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing company. We did a 6-day tour through their company. All accommodations were stellar, great communication, good routes, the GPS and map booklet were all we needed. Even when I had a bike problem, they dropped a new bike off for me within an hour. Would recommend to everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honenymoon in Puglia! 14 days on the bikes from Matera - Putignano - Alberobello - Monopoli - Ostuni - Otranto - Santa Maria di Leuca - Gallipoli and finally, Lecce.
Being the first guests in 2021, we were treated like royals! Already in the run-up to the trip, Alessandra showed herself to be a fairy godmother. She was always available, implemented our wishes and knew an answer to all questions … June, 23: After a warm welcome and a detailed bike briefing, we start at 42 degrees in Matera. The bikes are great and the paths are easy to find thanks to GPS. The local people on the way are very friendly and happy to refill our water bottles. ? Everything works wonderfully, the information for the daily stages is helpful and we test some of the recommended stops. And, while we are on tour, our luggage is reliably transported from one spot to another. A spontaneous extension in the middle of the tour - no problem. Antonio takes care of everything. He is the good spirit who always accompanies us.
Hard to say good bye to this breathtakingly beautiful landscape, to the excellent Apulian food & wine, to the dolce vita. It was great fun and pleasure with you guys at PugliaCycleTours, a highly professional and friendly team!

PS: It's good that we haven't discovered all of Apulia's treasures yet. So we must and will come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the 12 day self-guided tour from Matera to Lecce, one of the best cycle tours we have had. Booking, communication, briefing prior to the tour were all excellent. One of the standout features of our experience was the level of attentive follow-up and service that we received each day of the tour, unusual on a self-guided tour, in our experience. We especially appreciated, when it was raining heavily one day, that we were given the option to take a train rather than cycle, while the company transported our bikes to the next hotel.
The bike routes were very well chosen, allowing us to enjoy the unique beauty of the Puglian countryside with very little traffic. We will always remember the beautiful architecture, scrumptious cuisine and unfailing hospitality that we found in each of the towns we visited. We highly recommend this company. Grazie
