A	Alberto Irene on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antichi caselli daziari della città, segnavano i confini del borgo vero e proprio, oggi ospitano alcune attività commerciali tra cui Atb e un fioraio; ottimamente preservati, puliti e recentemente restaurati; in occasione delle festività vengono sempre addobbati, da qui potete godere della vista su città alta; molto utili come punto di incontro per una serata in centro dato che chiunque della bergamasca sa dove si trovano. Area sempre molto frequentata e sicura fino a tarda notte. La costruzione dei propilei e del viale Papa Giovanni, che collega la stazione ferroviaria austro-ungarica alla funicolare che sale nella parte alta della città, obbligò la demolizione del convento e chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie. It was built in neoclassical style in 1837 on the occasion of the entry into the city of Ferdinand I of Austria (1838), based on a previous project of 1828 by the architect Giuseppe Cusi, supported in the construction by Ferdinando Crivelli. Hanno quasi 200 anni (costruzione terminata nel 1837) ed erano una delle porte di ingresso a Bergamo bassa, infatti erano poste nelle "muraine" (così venivano chiamate le mura che cingevano città bassa). In pratica erano aperte sulla "circovallazione" antica di Bergamo (identificabile ora con via Tiraboschi e via Camozzi). Superati i Propilei si accedeva al Prato di Sant Alessandro (indicativamente dove sorge l'attuale Sentirone). Area dove si svolgeva la Fiera antesignana dei moderni supermercati.
