Excellent restaurant. I had branzino (local sea bass) with mixed salad and mango sorbet for dessert. Very well prepared and served. Like most Italian restaurants, dinner is taken late by American standards (7:30 pm at the earliest). On addition to the branzino, I can recommend the ravioli and the anchovies. I will be back

On our second spring visit to Camogli, coming back to this restaurant was a must. The tuna, swordfish & mussels were all excellent as is the atmosphere and the service. Desserts also fabulous! Elegant but unpretentious. Wouldn't be in Camogli without dinning here!

Very rude service (hard to find in Italy). The waiter's electronic ordering tablet didn't work and he was unable to take any order - after 15min, the waiter blamed it on us rather than actually taking a paper and a pen. #HardWork Also I'm not even talking about prices..

Extremely overpriced. We ordered a variety of things for our group. Pizza is ok, nothing special. Seafood pasta is probably the best valued. Do not order the pinenut crusted tuna. Looks lovely but not a good combination. Very dry. Could be better with a horseradish flavored sauce. Do not order their "catch of the day" -- tourist trap!!! That was the most insanely expensive part of our bill. You pay per 100 grams for the weight of the fish -- bones, fins, and all. They don't tell you how much it weighs when you pick your fish from the tray they bring you. You will be in for a rude awakening. Service is extremely slow. Dinner took over 2.5 hours from the moment we sat down to paying for the bill. The owner comes by asks if we want dessert we said we were finished. Thought he would know to bring the bill. Had to remind him to give us the check after 20 minutes later. The freshness of food is good. View of the water is not great. Service is slow. Very expensive for average food dishes. We had an excellent seafood meal in Genova on the waterfront for half the price, great ambiance, great service. We love Camogli, but this restaurant is very disappointing. Would come back to Camogli but not to this restaurant.

The location is great with the terrace just by the promenade and a stunning view on Camogli. That's all what is good about this restaurant. The service seems stressed and unprofessional. The table that we booked was not ready when we arrived. The people from the table next to us needed to get angry to get a water. We waited over 30 minutes to order drinks. The food was ok when it finally arrived, nothing special. But very expensive for what you get! Four small scampi were 47 EUR on the bill. The fish was more or less cold, the sides arrived 20 minutes after the main course. We waited over half an hour to get the bill, while the service personal was watching the fireworks. The worst is that they exactly know that they are nothing but a tourist trap, as no one was willing to make us feel happy when we complained. The worst and most stubborn person is the boss who did not even want to come to our table to discuss what happened. I can only recommend that you don't take a seat in that place - visit any other restaurant in Camogli and enjoy your holiday!

We had nice dinner here several times during our holiday. They have delicious fresh seafood and pizza as well. The staff is friendly and helpful, service is perfect. Price is not low - same as for all similar places - , but it is good value for money. Plenty of outdoor seating is available with sea view. Good selection of wines and liquor. The historical Primula bar is located in the same place as the Boccondivino restaurant.

Breakfast? Early lunch? The dark haired male waiter will treat you professionally. Aperitivos? The afternoon wannabe samurai ponytailed male waiter, is at best, a rude snot. In addition to rudeness, he was more interested in skulking in corners to smoke than to attending to tables. We gave him two chances and he only grew more rude. Decent breakfast omelettes, decent early afternoon aperitivos. Good outdoor seating. [We went back for the outdoor seating.] Overall, a halfway decent tourist mecca, in the morning hours. Late afternoon? Don’t bother.
