★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their food taste so so and is more expensive than the other cafes in the same plaza. We have the voucher from the hotel to have breakfast at this place. My husband wanted an item that is not included in our voucher. The staff tried to charge us the full price instead of the difference--basically trying to cheat us. As the other negative reviews mentioned, the staff are arrogant and unfriendly. There is nothing special about their food, pretty plain and tasteless. Save yourself the headache and visit one of the other cafes in Piazza dell Duomo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious sweets. We had cannoli with pistachio and ricotta which were great. It has big terrace which gets very crowded in the morning(~11h) when everyone goes for a morning coffee and sweet delight.
It is a little bit more expensive than some other pasticcerias in the city centre of Catania.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice spot to go for a drink in downtown Catania. We ordered 2 spritz and it came with so many free appetizers !!! Also, we loved their arancinis - definitely recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High standing Cafe in the classic, 18th and 19th century style. Good granita and brioche, comfortable chairs. The decor of the back rooms is not on par with the rest of the location, so, favor the window-side tables.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really nice cafe with all you can ask for regarding cakes and other sweets. I think they cover all the Sicilian varieties of sucker’ish that is on this island. I got some cannolies and granite with brioche and it was really good. I have tried cannolis manny places and this place is on top 3. The surroundings are nice and cozy.
They also have different kinds of food, so you can have a nice meal too:-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked the classical style..The staff is very friendly also. They gave a wide variety of desserts and at very good prices. We had two pieces of tiramisu which were nice. I also had some ice cream which was not very fresh unfortunately and that got me disappointed mostly cause I am in the country of ice cream
