It was designed around 1919 by the architect Francesco Fichera and inaugurated eleven years later by King Vittorio Emanuele III and the mayor Eduardo Di Giovanni.

Historic building, recently renovated and very beautiful to see. From a functional point of view it also provides good customer service.

Widoki fajne, znaczków nie kupiłem bo dostałem numer 70 na bilecie a obsługiwany był 41 :) Nice building, worth going in. I wanted to buy postage stamps and I entered by accident. Nice views, I didn't buy any stamps because I got number 70 on the ticket and 41 was served :)

Sulle volte del soffitto sono impressi i segni zodiacali, dal simbolo della Trinacria partono i pendenti dei lampadari, l'esterno in stile barocco è una alternanza di pietre tra cui la grigia pietra lavica e la bianca pietra di Ispica. Really interesting, a building of a certain scale, perfectly maintained, by Francesco Fichera. The zodiac signs are impressed on the ceiling, the pendants of the chandeliers start from the Trinacria symbol, the exterior in Baroque style is an alternation of stones including the gray lava stone and the white Ispica stone.

Già dal primo sguardo si evince che è stato ristrutturato facendo un confronto con gli edifici che si affacciano sulla famosa via Etnea. La facciata, armoniosamente movimentata, dona un aspetto inedito all'edificio. Anche i colori sono adeguati, non monotoni ma neppure troppo vivaci, una tonalità che ben si adatta al contesto circostante. Anche la vicinanza al giardino Bellini contribuisce ad armonizzare il paesaggio. Per quanto riguarda il servizio postale non posso esprimere un parere in quanto l'ho trovato chiuso. F	Francesco Romeo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho visto che spesso con 5 stelle si é valutata l'architettura, io qui valuto il servizio, super scadente, non si tiene conto delle prenotazioni online e addirittura non c'é ne tabelone con i numeri ne gli stessi numeri, bisogna chiedere chi é l'ultimo ? I have seen that architecture has often been evaluated with 5 stars, here I evaluate the service, super poor, online reservations are not taken into account and even there is no table with the numbers or the same numbers, you have to ask who it is the last ?
