P	Paola Farese on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mare bellissimo e cristallino, peccato però che è un posto piuttosto difficile da raggiungere. Google Maps ti porta a parcheggiare nel parcheggio a pagamento del porto, quando pochi metri più sopra, sulla destra, c'è un enorme parcheggio libero. Il comune non si fa pagare la sosta per il fatto che la discesa che porta alla baia è sbarrata all'ingresso e a circa metà percorso. Ci siamo avventurati ugualmente insieme ad altri, ma la discesa, con quel che resta dei gradini di una scalinata, è piuttosto difficile perché si rischia di scivolare in ogni momento. Arrivati giù, si presenta un altro problema: bisogna attraversare una serie di grossi massi scivolosi per arrivare su una lingua di sabbia piena di massi anch'essa, precipitati dalla scogliera (alta e molto scenografica, ma vale il pericolo?). Molti si sono adagiati su un piano di cemento, ma per entrare in acqua bisognava tuffarsi dagli scogli, per cui credo sia una spiaggia da consigliare solo per i nuotatori più esperti. Da qui il mio voto pesantemente negativo: avevo scelto questa baia attirata dalle recensioni più che positive sulla bellezza del posto (che non metto in discussione), però mi sarebbe piaciuto conoscere anche tutti questi altri "dettagli". Beautiful and crystalline sea, but it is a pity that it is a rather difficult place to reach. Google Maps takes you to park in the paid parking lot of the port, when a few meters above, on the right, there is a huge free parking lot. The municipality does not charge for parking due to the fact that the descent leading to the bay is barred at the entrance and about halfway through. We also ventured together with others, but the descent, with what remains of the steps of a staircase, is rather difficult because you risk slipping at any moment. Once you get down, another problem arises: you have to cross a series of large slippery boulders to arrive on a strip of sand full of boulders, also fallen from the cliff (high and very scenic, but is it worth the danger?). Many have settled on a concrete surface, but to enter the water you had to dive from the rocks, so I think it is a beach to be recommended only for more experienced swimmers. Hence my heavily negative vote: I had chosen this bay attracted by the more than positive reviews on the beauty of the place (which I do not question), but I would have liked to know all these other "details" as well.

Peccato la scomodità per raggiungere la caletta ma via mare si fa molto meno fatica e si gode di uno spettacolo naturale della scogliera altissima con acque basse e poi subito profonde ma cristalline e trasparenti che vanno dallo smeraldo al turchese al blu cobalto tra macchie di roccia enormi e Canyon sottomarini di fondali di sabbia bianchissima. Posto davvero top. Ci torniamo sempre almeno una volta nella vacanza. Another of the beautiful destinations of Salento. Too bad the inconvenience to reach the cove but by sea it is much less effort and you can enjoy a natural spectacle of the very high cliff with low and then immediately deep but crystalline and transparent waters ranging from emerald to turquoise to cobalt blue between huge patches of rock and submarine canyons with white sand bottoms. Really top place. We always go back at least once in the holiday.
E	Elena Merigo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non c'è spiaggia ma solo la banchina per prendere il sole tra le rocce della scogliera ed i resti dell'antica torre del porto di Miggiano. Suggestivo il paesaggio e spettacolare il blu del mare profondo limpidissimo. L'accesso in acqua è favorito da scalette ma non è accessibile ai disabili che non deambulano. There is no beach but only the quay for sunbathing between the rocks of the cliff and the remains of the ancient tower of the port of Miggiano. The landscape is evocative and the blue of the clear deep sea is spectacular. Access to the water is facilitated by ladders but it is not accessible to disabled people who do not walk.
