We walked in without any reservation and we still found a table, but I think it was the last one available. Food was pretty good, waiters were great and some spoke English. They have a pretty wide wine selection to match the dishes. Don't expect anything fancy, atmosphere is rather ancient and crowded, but friendly.

I love this place, it is still one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Torino: the atmosphere didn’t change, even with a new management, and the food is just prime piemontese food, SO good!! Carne cruda with artichokes is a must, tajarin too with whatever sauce they suggest... I prefer downstairs (upstairs feels a bit out of context) and especially the little room by the window. Love all the old pictures on the walls! DO make a reservation though, I walked in a few times without one and had to turn to plan B for the night.

Excellent location. A bit touristy because of the excellent location. Food was good. The risotto, the tagliatelle were well creatively flavored with seasonal offerings. The local speciality of tomato salad was good. Patate al forno were basic. Dessert was excellent. Tiramisu was appropriately sweet and the creme caramel was interestingly infused with orange. We even got a complimentary chocolate mousse with a local name that I can't remember. Prices were according to the location. Go here for a nice evening in the heart of Turin.

Reserved a table using Google, was really easy to do. Was served almost immediately and the food came reasonably quickly. The restaurant was moderately busy as it was lunchtime. The food was quality and I very much recommend it for anyone. Menu is in Italian but they have an English menu online.

Very good choice among local traditional specialities. A rich wine offer supports the foods you want to taste and enjoy.

Amazing service to tourists. We went on a Sunday evening and there were few people about. All staff spoke English and were polite to us, a bunch of Asian teenagers. A 1l jug of table wine cost 10€, and our meal (4mains plus a mixed starter and 1l wine) cost 90€. Portions are generous (except the lasagnetta, but that this was still worth the price). Would certainly visit again!

A very old and established restaurant in Turin. We service was great even though they spoke little English and was most Italian which was a treat for us. Felt like we were locals. The atmosphere was authentically Italian and so were the food. I didn’t give it 5 stars as I thought the food at the night was not to par. We didn’t have the truffle but I understand this place is famous for it so you must try if you like! Also, if you decide to get the pork cutlet, be aware it is actually schnitzel.

Very nice experience. Lovely genuine restaurant with simple, authentic and well cooked piemontese dishes. The staff is welcoming and kind and explained well the menu. Good value for money I guess but not cheap. Recommended!
